The food was fantastic. A very high quality of food and service, and a brilliant bar to boot!
The theatre go-ers set menu have a choice of 3 mains and 3 desserts, and although the food is quite daring and utilised some unusual ingredients, we went with it and enjoyed our meal.

We had gnocchi, broccoli with pomegranate, ostrich skewers, octopus, and lamb accompanied with incredible wine. Exceptional flavor, great service and nice atmosphere. Our best meal in London (we certainly had some bad ones). Pricey yes, but quality costs.

I dined on a tasting menu offer, and although I didn't have any complaints I wouldn't have been happy to pay the full asking price for what we received. Fairly small portions mean you leave still feeling quite light, and the trendy atmosphere leave you in the mood for a couple of drinks after. So I would return but for an early dinner before an evening out. I like the restaurant setting, being able to see the chefs at work is always a plus point for me, and the service was good, not pretentious as I'd previously anticipated it might be.

We went to this place as we had a voucher from Buyagift. The voucher was collected upon arrival. We arrived early and where seated to our table.
Firstly the drinks menu for some reason does not have any beer! but offers a wide selection of other drinks! They sell wine by the glass 175ml starting price of £7 onwards! or you can pay £35 for pairing if you have a taste menu. It is great to have a great wine selection but a small glass at that price is a little pricey. The Tasting menu itself was quite reasonable priced as you do get champagne cocktail, bread selection, starter, fish course, meat dish and dessert.
The food arrived and was well presented. The quality was good and it did look very appetising. I would say the cutlery had smear marks on and in-between the courses the plates where not changed so you have the same plate for the starter, fish and land dish. Which is not really very pleasant! The selection of bread was really nice although the butter was really hard! so made it very difficult to spread on the bread.
The dish we enjoyed the most was the Sea Bass with fennel the fish was excellent, the starter was pleasant, light and fresh, the Pork belly was ok and the dessert was somewhat average. Some berries with a basic vanilla crème, popping candy and some candied mint! ended the meal that had began with such promise really left me with mixed thoughts of the food.
Trying to get the bill was very disappointing! it took them over 10 minutes and at which point very tempting to just walk out! Overall food was very good, atmosphere was pleasant and staff fairly attentive apart from when wanting to collect the bill.
