“A real taste of France”
Reviewed 23 February 2013

The prettiest cakes and tarts imaginable. They are truly works of art and it takes great slef-control not to buy everything. The croissants and pains au chocolat are the real deal. A truly French corner in London.

“Far from a French pastrie”
Reviewed 17 January 2013

The location and the shop are nice. That's it.
I tried the "galette des rois". Something very common, you should not miss the recipe, just like bread. Well, It was not good: greasy, no shape, not at all the way it should be. The paste was very likely froze, Other cakes look unattractive, the sanded paste for the lemon pie tasted industrial.
For an artisanal bakery, you would expect much result.

“Fabulous Real French Pattisserie”
Reviewed 16 February 2012

Slightly off the beaten track but no more than five minutes walk from South Kensington station or the Natural History Museum so worth seeking out. The coffee is good and the cakes amazing. Friendly service. We are glad to have found this place as there are some dire places near the station. It does drinks, cakes, sandwiches, soup and I'm not sure if they do meals as we have only been on a Sunday. On Sundays it always looks quite empty but people don't seem to have discovered it yet.

The prices are really incredibly cheap especially for this part of London.
