We stayed with our 2 teenage girls in the family room. Hotel is very close to Covent Garden and the theatres. Good Indian and Thai food nearby. Room itself was very spacious with ambient deco. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Room was on the 3rd floor and very quiet. Bath came with separate shower. Hotel is well maintained and the Staff knowledgeable and friendly. The complimentary wifi was great. It's going to be THE place for us next time we are in London.

Room Tip: Family room on the 3rd floor

We had a two night break to visit the paralympics and also take in some west endshows. The hotel has a great central location, with covent garden, st pauls, the west end and the river all within walking distance. The room was beautiful, very trendy and quite spacious, lovely bathroom with Elemis products. The room was immaculate and very comfortable, in fact we found chilling out in the room a highlight of the weekend. We had breakfast in the room one morning and also in the restaurant, both were just great. Staff were always helpful and very friendly. This is a truely a great hotel and I think one of the best hotels we have stayed in. We would'nt hesitate in highly recommending it, and we would return in an instant. Fab!!!!

Visited for two nights at the end of August for the Paralympics.
We first visited in March when the hotel was newly opened, were very impressed then and just as impressed this time. We had two rooms, and one was upgraded to the most fabulous hotel room we have ever seen. Both were spotless and comfortable, as we have come to expect from the Apex chain in Scotland and London. The standout feature again was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff.
I can't see us wanting to stay anywhere else when we visit London. Why would we want to, when it's such a gem of a hotel in a great location?

But - WHERE WERE THE DUCKS?? We have a large collection on our bathroom shelf from our visits to different Apex branches over the last 9 years, but we didn't find one here when we came in March or last week!

Dear Ruthie51, Great to see you returned to the hotel for your second stay already this year. I am very glad to read that you enjoyed this visit as much as the first and I will be sure to praise the team for being the standout feature of our beautiful hotel. Following your great suggestion from your previous review we have now opened the restaurant at 17:30 for pre theatre dining – 2 courses for £16.50 or 3 courses for £19.50, including a complimentary glass of prosecco. Being only 10 minutes away from Theatre land, our location is perfect if you are in town for a show.
I must apologise for our shortage of ducks, there was an unforeseen delay in the original order but our new Apex Temple Court duck ‘Shirley’ will be here very soon. I will send you a separate personal message if you would like to reply to me with your address, I will organise our Guest Services team to post one out to you.
Many thanks
Karl Mitchell

We spent 2 nights in this wonderful hotel and would highly recommend it, we have stayed in London hotels a lot and this is now our favourite.  Beautiful decor and stylish rooms with ever amenity and luxury.  Very impressed with Elemis products in the bathrooms, lovely bathrooms, hi spec tvs, and luxurious robes for your rooms.

The staff were so friendly and courteous it was easy to forget you were in a city hotel.  We had a lovely cocktail in the bar and although we didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening it looked nice,  breakfast was lovely with a wide variety to choose from.

The location is great by foot with Blackfriars tube station a few minutes walk away, the hotel isn't that easy to find at first and as its fairly new not a lot of people know where it is so take directions.  The tube and general location of the hotel made it very easy to spend a weekend visiting various sights and we went to Lords for the day easily from here.

Great hotel.

Excellent clean hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting London. We got an amazing deal for bed and evening meal with bottle of wine for £99 per room. Did not have breakfast so can not comment on that.

My wife and I spent 2 nights in this beautiful hotel.
We took advantage of a bargain between the Olympic and Paralympic Games and therefore for us the price / quality ratio was excellent.
The standard room was really great, especially for city standards
The lobby and reception are really nice and friendly staff and professional.
The area is very central and convenient to the attractions of the city, but the rooms are very silent.

We stayed at the Apex for two nights and were very pleased with this luxury hotel. Everything was just about perfect and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was good, especially the breakfast and we had evening meals here too. The hotel could benefit from giving more detailed directions for the rear entrance as we struggled to find it. Would definitely stay here again.
