Stayed for a weekend and arrived to find the systems were down but the way this was handled gave a great clue as to how good the staff were. As others have said, the hotel has a lovely feel to it and the facilities are excellent. But the staff really are very good, great credit to those that did the hiring and training as nothing is too much trouble and they are all so genuinely friendly yet professional.
Good tip for you though, take a close look at the room rates and definitely book direct on line - you don't need to use an agent or booking site as there are some very good specials from B&B to DBB just look closely

Stayed at the Apex for a week in September while in London for business.

Pros.

Great location.
Staff friendly and helpful
Clean, modern and comfortable
Amazing sleep in the bed
Big Bath and separate shower
Gym facilities great
Restaurant food was tasty and well priced.

Cons

Air con in my first room did not go below 18degrees
Check in time was after 2pm ***

*** This for me was my only major bug bear. I had called the hotel on the Friday before arriving to confirm the room would be ready for my arrival around midday. I was catching a flight from Edin-Ldn then going to my works summer picnic at 2pm. I wanted to have a shower and get changed. After a bit of a complaint to the management I was offered a temp room for the Saturday night. I was then upgraded for the remaining week and offered £20 to spend in the hotel on food. Customer service was excellent once the complaint was made and was resolved quickly.

Very much recommend this hotel and i would stay here again

I can't think of a single thing I didn't like about this place. It is modern but not too minimal and feels really new and clean. Everything has a feeling of quality about it. The staff were all super friendly. Interesting location and central part of town. The best London hotel I have stayed in for a long time.

Room Tip: At the moment it is easier and nicer to walk down to the hotel from Holborn/St Pauls than up from Te...

We stayed at Apex Temple Court Hotel during our stay in London this month (October). We were very impressed by the high level of service we received from the very beginning. The hotel was impressive looking from the outside and the interior was modern and exceptionally clean and new feeling. Our room was exceptional. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was perfect and had a tub and modern shower. On top of this, the room also seemed soundproofed, we couldn't hear anything on the outside. This is probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in our many travels. There are no major downsides except possibly location, it is not completely central to everything but it is very close and the bus system is very easy to use along with the many tour buses you can take. It is also easy walking distance to pubs and other landmarks. Overall, excellent- thank you for making out London stay that much better.

We were delighted to find we were also upgraded to a suite with all amenities. Very comfortable although we did not partake of the extra priced breakfast until the final morning. It was just so/so.This is the second time we have stayed here. Outside the buses nos 11 and 15 take you all the way to Trafalgar Square although on this particular weekend these were rerouted because of roadworks. Coming back was no problem .This room was quiet and the bed extremely wide and sumptious. We will consider a third visit in the not too distant future.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room across the courtyard and arrive early afternoon for an upgrade at weekends

We were upgraded on arrival and our room was OK for size and very well kitted out. It had a samsung smart TV and most of the sky channels, and a sofa at the end of the bed and a separate dining area. The bathroom was fab with a bath and separate rainshower and lots of Elemis toiletries. Robes and slippers were also provided.
Breakfast was alright, there is an extra charge for cooked food, I had Eggs Benedict one morning and there was a slight vinegar taste to the Hollandaise sauce, but it was nice. Had the full English too which was quite good, but my partner didn't enjoy it. To be fair it was very busy when we were there. The breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient.
Special mention to Housekeeping who were excellent, everthing was spotless.

We got oyster cards which you can also use on the bus and the hotel has a bustop just outside. The service 11 and 15 were fab routes for tourists, and didn't take long to get into Picadilly Circus etc.

At first we didn't think there were many options for dinner but 3 mins along the road at Chancery Lane there was a bit more choice and we opted for Gaucho which has incredible steaks and is very stylish inside. There was also a weatherspoons, a thai restaurant, one of Raymond Blanc's Brasseries and a few others.
On Fleet Street itself there are a lot of takeaways; McDonalds, Starbucks, EAT etc. mainly catering for the office workers in the area, and that's the dilemma about the Apex Temple Court, it needs to decide if it's a business hotel or tourist hotel - and perhaps with a few more touristy touches it can successfully be both.

Room Tip: courtyard facing rooms are very quiet
