“Comfy bed, nice room”
Reviewed 26 March 2013

I stayed in this hotel briefly as it's around the corner from work and I had a late check-in. The check-in staff member was very polite and gave me all the information I needed. The bed was huge and comfortable, room quiet, nicely decorated, lovely bathroom, and quiet for a great night's sleep. Highly recommended. Didn't stay for breakfast but the bar and restaurant area looked nice too.

As usual, perfect stay at Apex, upgraded again on arrival, wonderful room (they remembered that I liked the top floor).

Room service is always friendly, never late - it always seems that the staff are enjoying their job and it shows in their service

See you again soon

I really liked the decoration of the room. The bed was super comfortable except that the "queen" size bed is actually two full beds attached together. Though I did not mind at all. I liked the full-body mirror too. The in-room dining is excellent. Good free wifi and free computers to use at the lobby. Really handy and the staff is very friendly... The only thing I would complain is the walking distance to the underground. It is 300 or 400 ft. Not bad but you feel different when you are actually walking. After all, it is located in a really good area in London. My taxi driver was shocked :)

Apex

I've been in both Apex London Wall and Temple Court on the same weekend (I like to experiment), so I'll put the same review on both hotels.

The room in the first one was a lot better, without an hesitation (in the first, the room was exceptional, in the second, it was nice also, but smaller and more worn out).

I booked both of them on the Apex web site, which gives you a £10 voucher for each stay, assuming I'll be using it for the breakfast. Bad luck, they are valid for any food or drink, BUT the breakfast

So, I tried cocktails, but the choice was limited by the lack of available ingredients (believe that or not, in both places, they were missing lime, and in one of them, even crushed ice). In the Temple Court I finally opted for a very good ciabatta sandwich.

In the London Wall, I was woken (relatively) early by roadworks right under my window, and as a compensation, I've been offered the breakfast (excellent, by the way).

Depending on your interests, both are very well situated, that's only a matter of choice.

Stayed for 3 nights in Superior Double. Although Fleet Street is busy and noisy, hotel is set off the road and is extremely quiet. Two separate tube stations are about 10 minutes away. Hotel is only a year old so fit out is very contemporary and in pristine condition. Hotel has a very attractive courtyard in the back which would be a great place to hang out on a sunny day/evening (although not in March). Basement gym has about 8 treadmills/bikes/walkers and are the very latest with big interactive screens. Restaurant busy for breakfast in morning at the w/e. Food was good although buffet was continental only. Room was very well sound proofed from neighbouring rooms with hi-spec fit out. Great big tv to match although no Pay TV Movies. Overall, a great boutique hotel and will definitely return to.

A lovely hotel, and although it doesn't look at if it is central it really is only a short walk from the South Bank, Embankment and Covent Garden. Very clean hotel and the man that checked us in, couldn't do enough for us. Drinks were fairly expensive but we only had one on returning to the hotel after an evening out.

The hotel is very well situated, has excellent new and modern fittings and features and the staff were all extremely helpful. The room didn't have any non-down pillows. The continental breakfast is a little pricey at GBP15 though...
