“Our go to in London”
Reviewed 22 January 2014

Tucked away off Fleet Street, two mind from Blackfriars tube, this place is a gem. It is very convenient for almost anywhere you would want to go and we happily walked to theatre land and the west end shops without any concern.

The greeting was warm and welcoming with confirmation of a room upgrade for £30per head extra - netting us a junior suite and use of the VIP room with books, papers, games and nibbles (and alcohol). Room was huge, sleek and modern - limes and black with a decent sized bathroom with Harris miller toiletries and even elemis sleep balm provided. Bed was very comfortable, robes, slippers and decent snacks provided. Our room was accessed across the courtyard which made for a chilly return to reception area/restaurant but which was remarkably quiet considering vehicles could pick up and drop off from right outside.

Bar snacks were expensive (ave £12 per sandwhich) but dinner offered many options and better value. The services was impressive and attentive at dinner and breakfast (huge choice of breakfast options) with breakfast hours and check out times much more generous than most.

We will go back here as our go to choice for trips to London. The chain has others in London and a number in Edinburgh. Unequivocal recommendation.

Room Tip: 34 - junior suite with two working desks, sofa and TV area, decent sized bath and bed. Very quiet...

3rd time at the Apex Temple Court and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Fantastic rooms, staff, food and for me a great location in a quiet part of town with a short walk to Covent Garden and the theatres.

Spent six days over the post Christmas/New Year period here. Absolutely top notch hotel. We arrived early but the receptionist arranged for our luggage to be delivered to our room when it was ready and even rang my mobile to inform us. Lovely 5th floor room with balcony overlooking the quad. Modern, clean room with TV, Wi-Fi and coffee/tea facilities etc.. Being on Fleet Street, it is an easy walk to St. Paul's, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square etc.. On New Year's Eve it was just a short stroll to The Embankment to enjoy the firework display. One small gripe. On two days our room was not made up by 4pm. Certainly a hotel with style and a well trained, smart and helpful staff. Loved it!

Room Tip: Higher the better. We had views of the Old Bailey, Australia House.

Just stayed at the Apex Temple Court Hotel and well it was sad to leave !!! Fabulous staff, wonderful room that we upgraded to a master suite that had separate lounge, toilet, bathroom and bedroom.

We had access to the Club Lounge, which was a lovely room with a huge plasma screen, coffee machine, wine, beer, nibbles. A continental breakfast was also served in here in the mornings... wow, the bread and croissants were truly fresh !!! Orange juices, yoghurt... quite a spread.. did I mention, this is included in the price.

Location is perfect, there is a short walk to Barbican and Temple (underground). One evening we walked up to covent garden.. it took us 10 minutes... Go the other way and you are by St Pauls. Location really is perfect, if you want locations without all the craziness of some of the tourist traps.

Finally I just thought I would say thank you to all the reception staff. They were so helpful and friendly. A proper luxury hotel level of service.

We didn't have time to use the bar, restaurant and gym, but they looked excellent.

I don't think I would stay in any other hotel in London after staying here. This is perfect for both business and pleasure.

Room Tip: We splurged and had a master suite. For London its fantastic value and gets you access to the Club...

Tucked away just off Fleet Street, this is a stylish yet friendly hotel that makes you feel welcomed as a guest the moment you walk in. The room was smart and clean, questions were answered promptly and the courtyard entrance provides a little buffer zone to the hurly burly of London life. Didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on that. Would definitely go back.

we enjoyed our stay at the Apex hotel, beside the fact that the address was incorrect and took a long time to find, the room was quiet, very nicely decorated. great towels, very clean.
once we got directions, getting to and back from the underground was an 8 min. walk.
the area is nice, walking distance from the theaters and covent garden.
the staff was very proffessional and helpfull.

Room Tip: use the chancery station on central line
