Booked for one night in Jan 14. Modern hotel, friendly staff, clean reasonable sized room, nice bathroom and good shower. Very nice flat screen TV with sky sports! Very comfy bed. Price I guess not bad for London...nothing is cheap in London! Location is decent. 10 min walk from Temple tube station. Covent Garden about a 15 min walk.
Breakfast was tasty although not cheap for £19.50 (again, one should expect this for London)....you could eat as much as you want tho.
I have stayed in better places, but the better prices are more expensive. I would stay here again tho and recommend.

This is very nice hotel in central of London. Great location. Very close to covent garden etc. It is a very modern hotel with great decor and nice interior. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I have never experienced that the staff actually went out on the street to get us a taxi - impressed! Our room was spacious and clean! The only thing that was not good was the lack of hot water in the shower. If you wanted to take a shower after 10 am you could risk to get a cold shower. This is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. Hopefully they will solve this issue as i would love to stay there again.

I stayed at the hotel during the Christmas holiday. The staff was amazing. The decor and rooms were great. The location was great. Bus stops directly outside the door. Blackfriars Underground station was a close walk. I definitely would stay here again.

Room Tip: If you know you will need space, research your room options beforehand for a larger room. The bathr...

We felt very well cosseted from the rush of city life once inside this interesting hotel. It's modern, with the budget for lighting having obviously gone over. The staff are warm, and good at what they were doing. The comfortable room was just right for a long weekend to get over a hectic Christmas period. Perfect for theatre land and shopping. Good reviews are the norm, it really is that bit extra for London. Will be coming here again.

This hotel is great! As soon as we arrived staff were friendly and helpful. Near to lots of tube stations, good area in London, as you can get to different areas of London quickly and easily. The room was great as well. Big wardrobes, spacious balcony good for when you need some fresh air and peace and quiet (it's very quiet out there) no noise of traffic etc.. The room was extremely clean and had all the things you'd expect from a hotel and more.. I loved how in the fridge and food cupboard there had lots of little guilty pleasures, chocolate, jelly beans... hot chocolate. The bath was big, and the bathroom was very light and spacious. The restraunt here was incredible! Food service wasn't too slow nor too quick. The food was cooked to perfection and the waitresses/waitors are so helpful and friendly, couldn't ask for more smiley, helpful staff. Very very pleased! You should definitely book this whilst you can, because I'm sure it's busy because it's such a great atmosphere and a modern, nice twist to this amazing hotel. Didn't look at a lot of the other facilities of the hotel but I'm sure they great too.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony otherwise I find it can be stuffy and hot in the room, because you can ope...

Excellent small hotel, obviously run off a thought through concept of luxury, but not overdone, convenience, travel comfort and personal attention. The boring things happen swiftly and efficiently (registration etc.) and the personal things are a true experience. Great beds and bed linen, superb bathroom, good spacious desk that doubles as a make up table, good hair dryers, swift breakfast room service and truly soft-boiled eggs with crispy soldiers... and a vast healthy choice that can all be ordered separately. Can't wait to try the next Apex hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a court yard facing room, the evening view is simply superb

Tucked away off Fleet Street, two mind from Blackfriars tube, this place is a gem. It is very convenient for almost anywhere you would want to go and we happily walked to theatre land and the west end shops without any concern.

The greeting was warm and welcoming with confirmation of a room upgrade for £30per head extra - netting us a junior suite and use of the VIP room with books, papers, games and nibbles (and alcohol). Room was huge, sleek and modern - limes and black with a decent sized bathroom with Harris miller toiletries and even elemis sleep balm provided. Bed was very comfortable, robes, slippers and decent snacks provided. Our room was accessed across the courtyard which made for a chilly return to reception area/restaurant but which was remarkably quiet considering vehicles could pick up and drop off from right outside.

Bar snacks were expensive (ave £12 per sandwhich) but dinner offered many options and better value. The services was impressive and attentive at dinner and breakfast (huge choice of breakfast options) with breakfast hours and check out times much more generous than most.

We will go back here as our go to choice for trips to London. The chain has others in London and a number in Edinburgh. Unequivocal recommendation.

Room Tip: 34 - junior suite with two working desks, sofa and TV area, decent sized bath and bed. Very quiet...
