“A relaxing hotel in the heart of the city”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

I have just returned from a one night stay at The Apex Temple Court. The hotel is ideally located with the underground stations just around the corner and a bus stop just across the road, the number 23 will take you to Oxford and Regent Street in less that 30 minutes. Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden are also a quick walk away.

We stayed in a Deluxe Room which was lovely, the room had a separate space with a TV and large corner sofa as well as a spacious bathroom with a bath and large shower. All of the expected bits were there too...hairdryer, bath products, iron and board etc. The Nespresso machine was a great touch too.

Because we stayed in a Deluxe room we had access to the Club Lounge which was a great facility, a lovely quiet room with plenty to read. A range of drink are on offer, all complimentary. We enjoyed a game of scrabble with a glass on wine during the afternoon. Scones, cream and cake were out in the afternoon too and a varied continental breakfast was served in the morning.

The staff are all very friendly and attentive, you feel the genuinely care and are not just going through the motions of being polite.

This hotel is well worth a visit if you prefer to be close to everything London has to offer but also wanting time to sit back and relax.

We recently stayed at the Apex Temple Court Hotel and found it very comfortable and smartly appointed. It is also reasonably priced among the finer hotels in London and is in a great location just off of Fleet Street within convenient walking distance of or a short cab ride to the theaters, restaurants, pubs, and various tourist attractions. Cabs are never more than 2 minutes time away. However, as a forewarning, if you are traveling from Heathrow to the hotel, be sure to have driving directions available as some cab drivers are not familiar with its location, and it is somewhat difficult to find absent directions. Also, if you go to the theater and do not return by 11, food service in the bar is not available, a disappointing experience for us.

Room Tip: If possible, request a room with a veranda on the 5th floor.

A mums and daughters trip on a beautiful sunny weekend. This was probably the best hotel experience I have had certainly in London and possibly anywhere in a hotel of its type. A great location central yet a peaceful haven in busy London, an added bonus was its proximity to the lovely courtyards of the law courts. All the staff were extremely efficient and couldn't have been more helpful, you really couldn't fault them and just the right level of friendliness. Rooms well appointed very clean and comfortable. We had inner courtyard rooms which were very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and a 25% discount card made it taste even better otherwise it would be a bit steep. All in all I can't imagine staying anywhere else, we had a fabulous weekend in a great city.

This is our first stay with Apex Hotel group, but will definitely not be the last. We usually stay with
Hilton Group at one of their flagship Hotels., both 5 star while also enjoying them we
decided to have a change of location and hotel group. The room was spotless with good toiletries and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although perhaps a little on the small side for a superior room. Breakfast was also excellent, served by really pleasant staff, and no waiting or having to ask for things which can often occur in some hotels. We did not dine in during our stay, but the menu and dining room certainly looked inviting. Well done all the staff we look forward o our next stay.

We stayed here for my birthday weekend and had a lovely time. We upgraded rooms but unfortunately it was still quite small. Good value and the breakfast was delicious. We were greeted by a very nice French girl at the front desk.

We stayed here for a weekend away in february 2014, and found this hotel very comfortable. The rooms had everything we needed and more. The en-suite was the nicest I've seen in a hotel of this standard. The staff bent over backwards to help us, including printing off our train tickets when we forgot to do it ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful - they make this hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

The service was really welcoming and friendly across the board. We were upgraded to a deluxe room on the top floor and I couldn't fault it. It was well equipped and immaculately clean and quite roomy. It was also remarkably quiet which I really appreciated as a light sleeper.u
We had a meal on room service, I had salmon Caesar salad and my husband had cod with chorizo and both were delicious. The pear trifle is a recommend too! Although we had breakfast in the room on one morning I preferred having breakfast in the dining room, because the food is laid out beautifully and of course there is more choice.
The hotel is in a very convenient position. it was easy enough to walk to Trafalgar Square, but the number 23 bus runs regularly if you are tired or want to get to Oxford/Regent Street.
