“Convenient and Clean”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

We stayed at the Apex for 5 nights and loved it!

The hotel is centrally located with 5 bus lines available right at the entrance. I was skeptical about riding the bus, but they are very timely and came frequently. The location can't be beat-- you're within walking distance to many top sites or just minutes anywhere else via Tube and/or bus.

We had access to the Club Lounge with was great-- complimentary beverages for the entire stay as well as breakfast every morning. We made fairly good use of the lounge.

The staff at the Apex is top-notch. Always warm, helpful, and unharried.

We upgraded to a deluxe room and had a balcony with a view of the courtyard. The bathrooms are huge-- with tubs and showers. Beds are very comfortable.

The grounds are also very beautiful and full of history. If you walk through the courtyard, there are many alleys and lanes behind the hotel that tell their own history.

I would highly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: All rooms facing the courtyard are very quiet. Street side has an ample amount of traffic during the...

walk down Fleet Street and you could miss this hotel tucked in a little courtyard.
This is a modern hotel and the rooms are spacious and well thought out.
Staff were friendly and although our rooms were not ready on arrival our luggage was in the room when we got back from a short walk.
We had a room at the back and it was very quiet not even noise from other guests in the corridor etc.
Hotel is in a good place as its a short walk up to Covent Garden and the theatres.
Would I stay again - most definitely

Had a wonderful time again at The Apex Temple Court. We love the area around here, it is so interesting and easily within walking distance of so many fabulous attractions. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Beds are comfortable, food is wonderful and plentiful, room was spotlessly cleaned each day. We didn't hear any noise, literally no noise from any rooms above or adjoining or from outside. It was BLISS

Room Tip: Some nice ones on the top floor look down towards the Thames

We just returned from 3 night stay at the Apex Temple Court in London. Being a family of 6 we usually rent a flat when we travel as it is more economical but as we were only travelling with our eldest son, we chose to stay in a hotel. We had a wonderful stay. We decided to upgrade to a Deluxe Room with Club Lounge access. It was worth gaining access to the lounge as it was well stocked with drinks and snacks. If I had known about the lounge before booking, I would not have booked a room with breakfast as the lounge served a very generous continental breakfast in the morning. That being said, the hotel breakfast was absolutely delicious. The Deluxe room itself was spacious, bright and the bathroom was spotless. (Housekeeping was fantastic for a clean freak like me!) In terms of location, it was a convenient 15 minute walk to Covent Garden and other tourist attractions. I booked the hotel through Kayak and upon check out I was told that I had to pay for breakfast separately for the last two nights. That was quickly sorted out when I presented my Kayak booking confirmation. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the inner courtyard, away from the street.

Our first stay at this hotel. We arrived off the Queen Elizabeth, so easy to be critical after being pampered for 34 days. The staff on reception Natalia I think was really lovely. Temple is a business area and an easy walk to groceries wine etc.on the Strand. If you are a walker you can cover a fair distance in any direction on foot. We are in our 70 and 68 age group. Lovely bed, great pillows, and lovely outlook from our room on a corner. It is usually booked out Thursday Friday Saturdays. I booked from Australia and believe we got what we paid for, not the cheapest hotel in town.

Room Tip: We paid a bit above the average and were put in room 302, we were there for 6 nights. Our room looke...

We where looking for a hotel for our anniversary weekend getaway, and we stumbled across this place. We where not disappointed.

The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to base yourself centrally, within easy walking distance of Covent Garden, theatres and many tourist attractions. We had booked to see a show at the Savoy Theatre in the evening, so the location was perfect for us.

The hotel entrance is just off Fleet Street, and you will be hit by the wonderful sight of an elephant (looks great at night). The reception is smart with a fresh feel about it, and the staff where very helpful with our check-in.

We stayed in a "Superior" room, which was spacious and very clean. It has a modern feel about it, and everything about it was quality. As I had mentioned it was our anniversary weekend we found a nice note from the hotel wishing us a happy anniversary along with a small box of chocolates. Nice touch!

We had paid for inclusive breakfast, and made the most of the great food on offer from continental to full English, and much more to choose from on the menu. I think it may be cheaper to pay in advance for breakfast, rather than on the day, so that might be worth looking out for.

Overall, a great hotel and we will definitely be going back.

Stylish hotel, very good location (15 mins walking to Covent Garden, 5 mins walking to the closest Tube station, 10 mins walking to St. Paul), good price for Central London. Reception ready to help.
Rooms are good size and clean.
Definitevely recommend.
