“An excellent stay”
Reviewed 17 April 2013

We stayed for two nights and were most impressed with the cleanliness and the friendly attitude of the staff. Ideally located for the Theatres and Tourist sites. Would wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family

Great location on Leicester Square close to China Town, Soho, Picadilly etc.
Helpfull staff and goog breakfast.
Not possible to open the windows and the ventilation in the bathroom is not strong enough, so the room gets quite humid.

Great hotel, very friendly staff and fantastic location. The hotel is right on Leicester Square, 1 min walk away from Leicester tube station however many others within walking distance and we had kids with us, the youngest being 4.

Room was clean and ideal for us; Premier Inn is Premier Inn and you always know what you are getting hence the reason we like it - no nasty surprises to be had! Our room was on the 6th floor and looked out to the back of the hotel which was surrounded by other buildings but no noise to be had, we found it very quiet at night and as we were at the end of the corridor no passing traffic throughout the night. The rest of our party were on the 3rd floor and they did not complain of noise keeping them awake, they also looked out to the rear of the hotel.

Breakfast was lovely and a varied selection to be had. I would recommend this as you will not find a better deal in London especially if you have kids with you (they eat breakfast for free).
We also ate in the restaurant one night for dinner, this was ok but the food wasn't outstanding and there are some lovely restaurants in the surrounding area. However the staff were very attentive and made a fuss of the kids making sure they were ok.

We also arrived early and there was no problem leaving our bags there until we could check in and the same upon check out, we left our bags until late afternoon to enjoy London on our last day and there was no problem at all with this and there were 6 of us so thanks Premier Inn!

If you are coming with kids, have a look in M&M World on Leicester Square, the merchandise is a bit expensive but worth a look at the displays - the kids will love it and our 4 year old said it was the favourite part of his holiday! Also, the Tower of London has activities for kids and they differ depending on the age range. All in all I found London to be very child friendly which was a nice surprise!

We stayed here for 1 night as was going to see Matilda the musical...he show was amazing!! The hotel as excellent location, 2 mins walk from tube, walking distance to all sight seeing areas....my legs Nd feet are still hurting from all the walking we did!! The room was really nice, clean, quite large however low ceiling! And I am no way tall!! The receptionist was really friendly and chatty. The only downside of this premier inn is ye music you can hear from the nightclub next door!!! It wasn't really loud but you could hear the beats until 3am!! We were in the 3rd floor so not sure if you still hear this further up. We didn't eat at the hotel but the restaurant looked nice. Suitcases can be kept ther until check in time and after check out. Would defo stay here again but would request a higher room.

This hotel is in such a superb location - everything is on your doorstep. The tube station is about a minutes walk away and the hotel is situated right on the bustling, lively Leicester Square. There is so much choice for restaurants or thnigs to go and see. You are right in the heart of theatreland. Chinatown (Soho) is literally a one minute walk up the road.
The hotel itself was very clean, tidy and well presented. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They held onto our suitcase for us, as we had arrived too early for the room to be ready. They also held onto our suitcase at the end of the stay so we were free to continue to explore London without the worry of dragging our case around with us.
The room was spotless, fresh and comfortable.
The breakfast catered for all tastes from cereals to crumpets, croissants, toast, full-English. Jams, spreads, sauces, juices, etc, etc.
Would highly recommend this to anyone. Yes, it can be a bit pricey, but considering the location it is to be expected. A lot of attarctions are within walking distance so you save on tube fares.
I would stay here again.

Room Tip: We had a side room on the 5th floor and we could not hear a thing from outside. Very peaceful and it...

Absolutely superb, from start to finish, special mentions to Fernando, Jason and Oliver although to be honest I could have stuck a pin into the staff register and hit gold.

The rooms are London sized, excellent considering location, very clean and efficient, I asked about a higher room due to some minor refurbishment and noise outside and was met with not only a promise to relocate (Including moving our luggage to the new room) but also questions as I mentioned that the workmen had broken their allowed curfew, and the member of staff (Jason) actually WANTED to know the rules so he could help, this was on the first night and it wasn't a problem again.

With two small children under 6 in tow it is always an effort to entertain and keep in check their loud nature (and voices) but despite them basically tearing round the place the staff always smiled and were very courteous.

Any request was dealt with and I enjoyed numerous conversations with staff who seemed genuinely happy to be in their job.

I was also present on the night of the fire alarm and must say that I thought the staff dealt with the incident efficiently and without panic, the refund was offered in the morning without question and it was dealt with in under 30 mins.

Final Note: The food was OUTSTANDING, I would go as far as to say the best Pizza i've had outside of Italy, if you are staying in London, even if its not the premier inn, USE THE RESTAURANT, Excellent Value for Money, Superb food, great staff.

Room Tip: Ask for a high room off the main strip.
