Stayed there for 2 days. Fantastic location and nice rooms. Staff very friendly and attentive to details. You feel very welcomed! Nice breakfast with everything you'd expect from a "Full English Breakfast". Great coffee (Costa coffee). Cups and plates heated - small detail, but yet completes the picture of a super hotel!
When leaving, there was a hick-up with booking a taxi (these things happen) - staff handled it beautifully, and helped us get one from the street. Highly recommends the place.

Room Tip: Our room was facing Leicester Sq. - Great view, and yet no noise...

We visited London last week and booked online for three night stay in a twin room costing £539.00 . The accommodation online was shown as "twin room". Upon arrival it was in fact a double room with an extra single bed on the 4th floor and apparently this is the only "twin" room they do. Hence one slept in a single bed which really did not offer the comfort guaranteed by Premier Inn. The double bed was not very comfortable either. We told Reception the following day and they immediately covered the bed with extra duvets which made all the difference. We think it should be made clear that it is not a true "twin" room. However it was very clean and spacious. The Hotel is in a great location for theatres etc. - Leicester Square tube few hundred yards away and plentiful buses just around the corner. It is very quiet inside the Hotel and the staff are wonderful, everyone was very helpful and are genuinely concerned for your comfort. The buffet breakfast is first-class and good value for money. Plenty of places to eat nearby although very similar menus ... Muriel's Kitchen next door is great.

Great location, indeed probably one of the best locations in London. This Premier Inn has a small foot space so the rooms are a lot smaller but the quality is still there. Pricey at £436 for three nights for a double room BUT it is Leicester Square. We found a lovely place to eat right next door called Muriel's Kitchen (opened in August 2013) which we can recommend for an excellent breakfast and superb coffee all served by the wonderful Andry. Leicester Square tube station is 300 yards and Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus are both 10 - 15 mins walk. I would recommended this highly. The bar is open 24/7 as well :-)

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room on the 6th/7th or 8th floor. These are so high up that you cannot hear a p...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel late last month, having found it in Trip Advisor, and selected it because of the reviews, and were not disappointed. It is located in probably the most convenient location for Central London, and it could not be closer to the theatres, and to communications of all types, with the possible exception of taxis which are within a couple of minutes walk as the whole area is pedestrianised.

I walked to the British Museum, through Soho, and my wife spent an hour in the National Portrait Gallery, 3 minutes' stroll away from the hotel. There are innumerable restaurants, bistros and cafes, and we were so pleased to be able to visit the Chinese Quarter, just around the corner, and an excellent French bistro in St Martin's Lane (better than any we experienced in the Latin Quarter of Paris last year). We were also able to amble to a theatre in the Strand and back to the hotel.

As the choice of eating establishments nearby is so good, we did not use the hotel's restaurant - we had just spent a night each in the Premier Inns at Truro and Exeter M5, and had eaten perfectly good but a little unadventurous meals in those.

The rooms in all three hotels were very similar, clean and comfortable, always quiet. and we had no complaints. The welcome and assistance by the staff were always friendly, and with a smile. The only niggle we had was that WiFi was free for 30 minutes only, starting from its first use, not in segments of a few minutes each, which we found rather frustrating, and we thought the Premier Inn group could add a small charge in its room rates to cover 24 hour availability, without a serious effect on its budget image.

Nevertheless, we would recommend the Premier Inns for brief stays

The location right at Leicester square is just perfect. And still the rooms are really quiet for a good night sleep. Staff friendly. Rooms clean and ok. Breakfast good and worth it's price but not great.

I have been staying at Premier Inns in various locations for many years now but this was my first visit to the Leicester Square Premier Inn. Obviously, because of its' location, it is more expensive than normal, but HEY! it's in the heart of London. Previously when visiting London, I have stayed in more upmarket hotels which apart from being ridiculously expensive, they could also be somewhat 'snobby' and 'aloof' in their service but at this Premier Inn it was hotel quality with friendly service. I would definitely recommend this Premier Inn because there was nothing negative I could find about it. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the rooms and general hotel areas were immaculate and on top of that it was so quiet for its' busy location. The location is fabulous for access to theatres, restaurants and local 'Dickens' style pubs. My only regret in praising this hotel so highly is that it might become too popular and I won't be able to re-book.

Room Tip: From my experience, I don't think there is any good or bad room locations, we stayed on the four...
