We stayed in room 10 (twin room) for two nights recently. Book direct with the hotel cos it's cheaper than doing it via booking.com etc.......... and you get a beautiful free English breakfast booked direct where they charge £5 per breakfast if you book via an agent. The hotel is right across the road from Kings Cross & St. Pancras rail and tube stations. No hauling bags for miles to the hotel, great!! We received a pleasant welcome from the receptionist and were given the keys to our room. The room was en-suite and quite small, but how much room do you need. TV and coffee/tea making facilities included. Spotlessly clean throughout. We will definitely be staying here again when we next go to London.

Room Tip: Get a your room cheaper by booking one that has a shared bathroom.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. The location is perfect, a short walk from Kings Cross station. Reception staff are very pleasant and efficient, wifi, breakfast arrangements etc all explained. My room was on the second floor, up two flights of well lit stairs. The room was immaculately clean, not a big room but perfectly fine, wardrobe, drawers and chair and tv, kettle and a generous supply of tea coffee and milk. Lots space to put your belongings and plenty electric sockets-exactly what travellers need these days. The bed was as comfortable as a sleeping on a cloud, very nice indeed. The ensuite was beautifully clean, the light and fan come on when the door opens so no searching for light switches in the dark. The breakfast room is on the lower ground floor. Again it is obvious that cleanliness is taken very seriously here, the room is bright and sparkling and nicely set out. Staff in the breakfast room were as cheerful and efficient as those on reception. I opted for the cooked breakfast which was well presented and cooked to perfection with orange juice, toast and a good sized pot of coffee.

Room Tip: Two flights of stairs to the second floor so could be difficult for those with mobility problems, a...

I stayed two nights, before catching a train to Gatwick from St. Pancras station. The hotel was conveniently located. It's in a side street, close to busy main roads but was very quiet. I was upgraded to a junior suite in another building, a couple of blocks away from the main hotel, but the short walk to the hotel for breakfast was not a problem. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the suite was very well equipped. All of the the staff members I encountered were friendly and efficient.

The rooms are admittedly small at first glance but you won't find anything you need lacking here. There's always somewhere to store your stuff, even though it's far from luxurious, it's very practical. You'll soon feel very comfy in here. It supplies hand soap (dove) and shower gel - the best thing is the good water pressure in the shower. I've been travelling for 2 weeks prior to staying here and stayed in some 4-5 stars hotel (this one was far from the best) but they do have the best shower. The bed is not heavenly but comfy. It even managed to squeeze in a water kettle. The location is great, near King's Cross St. Pancras station. Although it's only 2 minutes walk, where it's situated is on a quiet street, so far away from the complexity you might find often near train stations. King's Cross is a good underground station as it connects to every single line within London and to Heathrow. The staff is very knowlegable and helpful - they know exactly what they are doing and will go the extra mile to ensure qualitative services - this includes people at the reception down to the cleaning lady.

My only complaint is the breakfast, they have a very small room that serve free breakfast. You have to call in advance to ensure seats are available. My first day here I had to wait more than 30 minutes so I got so angry, I simply left. While the breakfast and the service is good, I think this part of the service is something the hotel should reflect on. If you intend to offer free breakfast as part of the deal, you need to ensure there's enough room to cater to all or at most. Breakfast only runs between 7.30 - 9am sharp - not a lot of time, honestly. And as a traveller, while we're here to relax, time is also of the essence.

Otherwise, a good stay and would recommend as a place to stay in pricey London.

Stayed four nights at a studio apartment across from King's Cross Station that is owned by Jesmond Dene. It was clean, convenient, quiet at night, nicely furnished, and relatively spacious for London. The double bed was a pull-down, so you could create more living space if you bothered to flip it up (we never did). The bathroom was very small but nicely finished. The staff was friendly and provided great help with figuring out transportation for all of our outings. Limited choices for breakfast, but the food was fine and the dining room cheery. Neighborhood is a little seedy at night but seemed quite safe, with many people on the street. Lots of inexpensive restaurants as well as great markets and food shops in St. Pancras Station, just a short walk away. The apartment has all new appliances: spacious fridge; washer/dryer; microwave; regular oven; and dishwasher -- very convenient!

My husband, 3 daughters and I stayed in this hotel for a night last week. Our room slept 5 which was perfect for us, as we didn't want to split up. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable and nicely appointed. Even though we didn't have a shower & toilet, there was a double sink which came in useful. Towels were lovely & soft also. Breakfast was delicious - clearly good quality ingredients are used. The breakfast room is small so we were asked the night before to call down when we were coming to eat, to ensure that there was a table for us. The waitresses were efficient and friendly & my daughters are still talking about the sausages & bacon...they were that good! Also, an important criterion for us was secure parking - our car was taken when we arrived and dropped back as we left....the car park wasn't at the hotel but somewhere close by. This is a perfect location for Eurostar users as it's within a couple of minutes walk from St. Pancras. Great connections from Kings Cross for the underground and Euston Rd. for the bus. The street outside is quiet so no noisy traffic to keep you awake. All in all a very pleasant stay (albeit a short one!).
