“Good clean accomodation, but breakfast not great!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 January 2012

My husband stayed here last week just for 1 night as he was visiting friends, he said that the accomodation was clean and there were fresh clean towels, the bed was a little soft but he slept ok. The shower was large and the room generally was ok for a short stay, but if you were staying for longer than a few days it might feel a bit claustrophobic! The breakfast wasn't great, but it was included in the price so all in all the price he paid was acceptable for London & there was parking which was a bonus + it was close to the train station for easy access into the centre of London. He would stay there again but only on a short stay basis.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet area of the hotel when booking!

one night here was more than enough. went with friends and they had a broken bed, we had a freezing room with no heating in january! when we complained all we got was a heater. staff unhelpful and uninterested. complained by email to them afterwards, no response so they just dont care. duvets were rubbish so we couldnt slep very well with the cold.
breakfast was stale bread for toast, squash, cheap horrible coffee, cereals and for some unknown reason salad and tuna!!!!!!!!!! who has salad and tuna for breakfast!!!
this is not the continental breakfast we were promised.
really bad hotel. facilities poor, staff useless and breakfast disgusting.
i am just annoyed we paid for this terrible hotel. only good point was location to london.
dont book if you want to sleep!!!!!!!!!!or eat!!!!!!!

Room Tip: dont book here!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't expect too much, but King Solomon is a very good, friendly and clean one. The breakfast is better than in a 3star hotel. Location is also fine.

A friend booked this "place". We are no longer friends. This is not a hotel. Finding the room was an experience with a maze of hallways and a range aromas to accompany the journey. Would not recommend this place. Rooms were run down, breakfast was terrible.

Booked a room at the King Solomon for two nights over the holiday period for some last-minute Christmas shopping and I was pleasantly surprised. Reading some of the reviews, I was a bit hesitant, but the hotel is well-located, clean, and functional. Rooms were tidy w/ flat-screen TV's and the breakfast was in a light, airy cafe---they even serve bagels! The hotel is located on a leafy road with a nice business district + great Tube access. Definitely a good budget hotel option in London!

Depressing rooms. Worst point is the acoustics. Can hear everything going on everywhere around the hotel. Walls seem to be made of paper.
Ridiculous price for a 0 star hotel. Which is what I would give it.

4 of us booked a family room at the King Soloman for an overnight stay. We arrived 2 hours before check in but was told 5 minuters and the room is yours. 2-3 minutes later we were in our surprisingly roomy and spotless room.

2 flat screen TV's tea and coffee making facilities small sofa couldn't ask for more.

Breakfast was in a comfortable dining area and was perfectly acceptable for the price we paid.

I felt I had to write the review as some of the reviews here were unbelievable. I have now stayed at 2 hotels which have received scathing reviews on Tripadvisor both totally unfounded.

In short no complaints whatsoever.
