Pros. Comfy enough bed, en suite bathroom, everything was clean, given a free upgrade from single to double & very friendly staff.

Cons. Steep staircase low ceiling on the top floor rooms and breakfast was really not up to much... I obviously was not expecting bacon for breakfast or even hot foot beeing a kosher hotel but seriously bagels and no cream cheese.. that was kind of a let down.

Overall I just needed a place to sleep for a few hours between a late work finish and early start so for that purpose this hotel is great and I would recommend it.

Plain, small rooms, uncomfortable location, terrible service, and very basic breakfast. King Solomon Hotel was definitely a budget accommodation. Everything was just below average, except the service. My family and I had heavy suitcases, and with no lift we had to carry these suitcases up a narrow staircase to the top floor. But it was a place to sleep and they did offer breakfast, it was relatively close to Golders Green tube station, and it was clean enough. If your on a budget there is probably better places out there, but if your not fussy King Solomon Hotel is just fine.

We chose this hotel for its location to the underground and found it to be just right as our rest place to visit the sites of London. Free car parking welcoming staff and a healthy breakfast what more could you want from a cheap and chearfull place.

If you're paying £60 a night in London then you can't expect much. It's budget accommodation for people on a budget. Not the most comfortable night's sleep I've ever had but it was adequate for the price.

This hotel is not very welcoming ! We were given our keys and told the breakfast times and then told (no pork no bacon in this hotel ?) very rude ! The hotel was full of family members at breakfast which made us feel very uncomfortable ! Not a very british welcome ! Would not stay here ! The breakfast was awful (pasta salads ? ) . Would not recomend this as a trip to the capital of England to see the true british hospitality !

The hotel is being restructured, so some parts of it may look really crappy. The room I had booked didn't match the picture I had seen at the time of booking, and it was quite small and dark. Prices are average, not cheap at all so I expected something more. On a different note, brakfast was quite good. I had to leave my room at 10, and upon leaving (9.55) the guy at the reception pointed out that he knew which room was mine "because I was waiting for you, you're the last leaving in delay". The area (Jewish spot) is nice, full of places where you can eat, no big attractions though. The hotel has a bus stop right in front of it and it's a ten minute walk to Golders Green tube, so you can reach anywhere in London in a reasonable time.

The worse place I've ever stayed & glad it was only for one night.
Rooms are extremely small, shower door doesn't open far and shower just handheld. It has an extension lead hooked on roof. Little tray with tea & coffee on it but can't use kettle as cable not long enough to reach the roof socket. Bad design all around. Very dark with a tiny loft hatch for window. Pigeons nesting in roof so could hear them all night. Breakfast practically none existent and restaurant never open.

This should not be classed as a hotel & is still far from being a B&B......... more like a hostel with thin walls, doors that slam shut shaking all walls and smelly damp corridors.

This needs a visit from the Hotel Inspector! Or needs to be closed down.
