As so many will tell you, London is very expensive city and so this hotel is an oasis in the desert in terms of a very nice place to stay in a very centrally located part of London and at a good price for this city. (Very close and walkable to Victoria Station. Bus stops at front door of the hotel.)This makes it ideal for travelers like my wife and I which are visiting London as tourist. Pluses include an excellent breakfast and a very helpful and friendly staff. If I had any complaints at all it would be that they really don't have a good connection to a nearby laundry that can provide dependable one day pickup and delivery service for laundry to include shirt and pants ironing services. This is important to tourist travelers that travel light and have the need for more frequent laundry services and don't want to spend their vacation time doing their own laundry in a laundromat. But overall, good experience and I would stay here again.

After staying at a slightly cheaper (but significantly worse) hotel just around the corner, I booked this place after all the reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. In short, brilliant staff, nice room with excellent bathroom and a personalised cooked breakfast. I had some interesting requests re luggage storage and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Close proximity to Victoria Station too. Will definitely stay here again.

It was all as expected from a budget hotel. I had a small stay in September this year with my wife and son. It was quite pleasant but of course nothing is perfect.
Room: clean but small, private bathroom- clean and with sufficient toiletries, comfy beds, complimentary Wi-Fi. Well maintained hotel building
Staff: efficient, friendly and pleasant
Location: easily locatable, nearby many attractions, close to Pimlico at approx.10min distance. Victoria Station at a distance of 15 min.
Food: freshly made, wholesome and plenty
Minus: no elevator (you have to use stairs for up and down), no air conditioner (avoid visit in summers).
Overall I can recommend this for short stay.

London is an expensive city and so is the hotels here- not cheap. I was of course on a budget but left with no other hotel decided to stay back at Luma and Simone. A well maintained hotel, taken care by two brothers. The interiors are fab, reception attracts you with furnished floors, plush sofas etc. It was a bit slow check in; the guy at the front desk seemed to be new maybe. My room on first was spotlessly clean much like I expected but not that spacious. The low point was the bathroom- in an urgent need for renovation, leaking pipe and strands of hair here and there. I complained about the same and got it cleaned within minutes which I appreciate. Staff was polite and hospitable. Location of course was the major highlight, near to several sites and station which was very much convenient. Rest all was fine. No unresolved complaints of any sort but as per the price, it can be much better. Recommended for short stay.

After traveling throughout Great Britain for almost three weeks and staying in a variety of B & Bs and small hotels in both small towns and big cities, we spent our last three nights in London at the Luna Simone Hotel in the Victoria Station/Pimlico neighborhood of London. There are dozens and dozens of small hotels in this nice area of town from which to choose. We chose the Luna Simone Hotel (previously named Luna and Simone Hotel) and were not disappointed. The managers are quite conscientious and hospitable. The bathroom, while small, had better plumbing and shower than at any of our previous lodgings. Wi-fi access was without problem. The bedroom, while small, had modern and adequate electric outlets, a desk, and adequate lighting. Breakfast was somewhat better than we experienced at other B & Bs. The location is ideal, just a few short blocks from the Victoria tube/underground station and right in front of a bus stop.
