Asked for a quiet room which we were given at the back of the hotel looking onto a brick wall but no street noise. For a twin room this room was exceptionally small, we were knocking into each other if one of us was not sitting on a bed. . The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Bathroom had a shower only (no bath but who needs one!) but was high powered and fast. Clean towels each day, beds made each day. Safe in the wardrobe was an added and appreciated feature. Fan was needed in this room and the one supplied was excellent. Tea and coffee making facilities were good but the hairdryer was dangerous, over heated. A replacement was given at reception. Free Wifi was a bonus. Breakfast was adequate but nothing to write home about and the menu choice was poor. All food was served hot by friendly staff it just lacked more choice, ie sausages and mushrooms. The nearest Tube Station to this hotel is Pimlico definitely not Victoria, it is a good 15-20 mins walk away. Bus 24 stops opposite this hotel which will get you to Victoria Station (not coach station) where you can get tubes or buses you require for sight seeing. All in all this hotel is adequate for a few days sight seeing break . All staff we spoke to were exceptionally friendly and very helpful - they are to bed congratulated - nothing was too much trouble.

Room Tip: Room 2 was a quiet room but for a twin room was exceptionally small. It faced the stairs for the d...

Stayed here 5 night and had an all around good experience. Everyone was very helpful from the booking (when the number of stairs I would need to climb was pointed out to me); to the stay - my request for an extra fan in the room was met without hesitation. As other reviewers have pointed out, the location is great, central, without being so central it's unaffordable. Safe area (I was traveling alone). There is a whole row of hotels on Belgravia - so what makes the Luna & Simone stand out? The brothers have made this a comfortable, enjoyable place. I wish them much continued success and plan on staying here on any of my return trips to London!

We also heard of this hotel from a Rick Steves article and we were very happy with our 4 night stay. The rooms are a bit on the small side as you might expect from these older buildings, but they're clean and nicely equipped. When you check in, you'll get a key to your room and a key to the outside door too. We had a desk,TV, password protected wifi, a hairdryer, an electric kettle with teas and coffee and extra outlets to recharge electronics. Most appreciated is the safe in the room, free for your use. The bath is small but newly remodeled and has everything you need. Breakfast is included and is served with a smile in the basement at individual tables. Servings include eggs, bacon, beans, cereal and toast. We especially enjoyed talking with the twins - they are a wealth of info about the area and were always happy to chat with us. Our first afternoon there we walked up to Buckingham Palace, Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. For sightseeing, I'd recommend getting to know "the Tube" - the Pimlico station is a bit closer than Victoria and less crowded.

This was my fourth stay at Luna and Simone--I love the feeling of the place and the people who own it and work there. Some of the rooms are quite small, and some require a bit of stair climbing, but everything works, and the people are very helpful. Breakfast is certainly adequate if not exciting. I love Pimlico as a location, with the many restaurants and shops in the area. Also LOVE the 24 bus across the street, as it seems to go everywhere I want to go, and it is so convenient. On the return , it literally drops you off at the door of the hotel. Bit of advice: book airport shuttle buses early,as they can fill up. They will book them for you. They can also book mini cabs.

We arrived very early from the airport and had to wait a little while for our room to be ready. We were given the basement room with three single beds. Although it was downstairs and across from the breakfast room, it was quiet, private and had two windows that looked out on a side yard. The room was small but very clean and well maintained. The cable TV had a lot of channels and ran American re-runs on several channels. One of the best things about the location is that the bus stops are virtually right outside the door. We crossed the street to catch Bus #24 either to Victoria Station or to Trafalgar Square. The Tube is quicker but the bus is easier if you are not in a hurry. It takes about 30 minutes from hotel to Trafalgar Square. From Trafalgar Square, you can change to the Tube or access other bus routes. From Covent Garden, you can get the RVI which is like a sight-seeing double decker that takes you across the Thames, back of Tate Modern and to London Bridge. My husband and I got off at Tate Modern, walked to the Shard and took the Tube back. Can't emphasize enough that a combination of the buses and the Tube provide the most flexibility.

The English breakfast at the Luna Simone was very good and served with a smile. The staff was always friendly, helpful and very efficient. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and it is always a great pleasure to return, it never disappoints. Lovely and clean with excellent service, in a very good location.

I stayed in room 8 on the Simone side and this one had access to a balconyThis was my third stay at this wonderful hotel and it didn't disappoint. Lovely and clean with excellent service.

We were able to check in as soon as we arrived (1:00pm). We were in room 4 in the "Simone" side of the hotel. Previously I have stayed in room 9 on the "Simone" side of the hotel and room 17 on the "Luna" side. I found all rooms to be of consistent quality.

The room had the usual facilities; a small desk & chair, TV with DVD player, wardrobe with a free easy to use safe, a lovely clean bathroom with shower, toilet, handbasin and plenty of lovely HOT water!

Our room was on the ground floor facing the street and although we could hear some sounds of traffic we didn't find it disturbing.

We used the tube train and bus to get around. It's best to get on and off at Pimlico station since this is nearer and also smaller so doesn't have the rush and confusion of Victoria. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and buses arrive every five minutes or so.

Either before or after check in the hotel reception will look after your cases while you go around London.

There are lots of restaurants and pubs nearby and also a small shop just one minute away to buy newspapers, sweets and milk.
