I stayed for one night on my first night in London before travelling to a friend's for the remainder of my trip. I arrived at the end of a long day and the hotel was exactly what I needed. Great price (much cheaper than I had expected for a pretty central location), clean, comfortable bed, good cable - discovered my fave English show getting caught up on the time change.
The rooms are quite small, fine for a short stay but if you're staying with someone you may want to book somewhere bigger. There is no elevator - helpful to know if you travel heavy, as I did on this trip going through three different climates - but there aren't many floors so certainly manageable.
I found it very quiet but I stayed on a Sunday night, so also could've been timing. Lovely breakfast places and attractions nearby. Walked to Buckingham Palace no problem before leaving the next morning.
Perfect for a short stopover/if you're only there to sleep/you're very no frills.More
