We. Booked online as we were going in to London to see miss Saigon . On arrival we were booked in by a very polite and helpful man . Room was smallish but very clean and well maintained. A very nice quiet night and a great continental brekkie. Staff are very polite and efficient . All in all a great stay but I'll try the restaurant next time as the menu looks great

Stayed for one night with family. The hotel is fabulously located - literally a stone's throw from Gloucester Rd tube so great for Kensington, and easily accessible from anywhere. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within strolling distance, but you won't find anywhere nicer to eat than the hotel's own restaurant, the Light of India. High quality food, and with a discount for hotel residents. The staff are all very friendly, always have time to talk to you about your stay, and go out of their way to meet any requests. Also decent value for central London - five of us paid £60 each for B&B. The continental breakfast was lovely, and full English is only £6.50 extra. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

My son and I stayed at the Montana Hotel in Kensington this past weekend. It was a pleasure! The hotel is a stone's throw from the Gloucester Road stop on the Tube, and very convenient to shops and eateries. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful, able to offer directions and recommendations for restaurants. The first night, our twin room was a bit small; no worries--they changed our room the next morning!

We stayed one night to attend a concert at the Royal Albert Hall and the location was perfect - 5 min walk from Gloucester Road tube on the yellow Circle line and green District line, 10 min walk to Royal Albert with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Our room on the first floor overlooked Gloucester Road and it was not noisy. Air conditioner functioned well. Room size was good, bathroom a bit small but fine with plenty of room to unpack toiletries. Shower was fine - plenty of hot water and adequate water pressure but no hand towels or bathroom floor matt provided. Mattress was a little hard for me. Clean, old fashioned decor but all in good repair ....they must still sell that stuff somewhere. Staff friendly but a bit pushy trying to get us to dine in their Indian restaurant - which is also where breakfast is served and it did smell of curry instead of bacon and eggs. Breakfast is yogurt, fruit, cereal, juice and toast or £6.50 extra for full English. I thought it good value for £105 excl VAT for a weeknight double in a smart Central London location. Don't forget to leave the room key at the front desk when you go out - it will deactivate and you'll need to get a new one re-issued on your return.

great location in the centre of London. Stayed with a friend for the Army v Navy weekend. Hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. Room was very small and felt a bit claustrophobic being located in the basement. Also disappointed that no extra pillows were available owing to the hotel being full up. Breakfast was very basic but adequate.

We stayed for 4 days, the location of the hotel is very good with connection by the tube station to the rest of london and lots of restaurants around. The hotel is clean and small. Breakfast is very humble with only cereal fruits and bread slices.

Room Tip: The room we got first has the smallest toilet I have ever seen in my life. When complained the room...

Conveniently located near Gloucester Road station. Near grocery stores, pharmacy & pubs. Hotel is clean and the staff is very courteous. Room small, but adequate. Only complaint is only one towel provided daily and the shower had poor water pressure at times. Breakfast was quite good. Elvis at the desk as well as others were very helpful. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Bring own face towel. Rooms facing Gloucester have road noise.
