Lovely, spacious rooms. Very helpful and warm staff - willing to help. Excellent location. Excellent value for money. Close to tube and Westfield shopping centre. I would certainly choose this Travelodge again.

For a long weekend in London this was perfect for what we needed. Easy access to trains and buses. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly

We chose this hotel, as I was attending a conference at ExCel and hubbie was exploring London at the same time. All of the staff were very friendly, down to earth, all quite young, but definitely capable. We had a room on the 7th floor facing the high street, which seemed to get quite hot, we could have left the window open, but for a bit of noise, otherwise the room was very clean & tidy, well turned out every day & the bathroom was brand new, a whole module it seemed & all very clean & big enough. The bed was comfy, and as the hotel is only 200metres to the DLR & a 12-20 minute ride to ExCel, it was very convenient & it was half the price of the hotels nearer to ExCel. The big Westfield is just up the road, for some shopping & the new Olympic Park was opened & looks great, also there was a handmade bike show on, which added something to hubbies'
itinerary. Maybe the only slight let down was the breakfast, coffee machine not great, ran out of butter after the first day & offered large tubs of margarine instead! For the price possibly not worth it, but that was our choice to add breakfast to the stay.

The Reception staff were the nicest I have ever encountered in a Travelodge, it made our stay they were very helpful and friendly. They even allowed us to store our bags after checkout so we could visit the Olympic Park. This Travelodge was well situated within walking distance of Stratford Underground, Westfield and Stratford High Street DLR. A family of 5 we had two rooms. Would definitely stay here again if I was visiting the area. Obviously Travelodges are reasonably basic but you get what you pay for. This hotel was very clean and adequate for our family needs for two nights and the breakfast was very good. Would like to see Travelodge change out their old sofa beds in the family rooms that act as the bed for children as all are old and past their best with springs almost coming through, very uncomfortable, not expecting fancy beds but this needs addressing throughout the chain as is the only thing that lets Travelodge down really.
