Book this hotel to be near Westfield Shopping Centre. The hotel is ideally located near to Stratford High Street DLR and on the main bus route to and from Westfield
The staff both at reception and in the restaurant were very helpful and warming
The rooms were new which sets it apart from some of the Travelodges I have recently visited
stayed at and the beds were very comfortable
I will certainly be booking this hotel again and thank you Dee on the reception desk for being so nice

We have stayed in quiet a few travelodge a in the past and we have to say this is the best travelodge we have ever stopped in. The staff are friendly and welcoming as soon as you walki into the hotel. As my son says the breakfast is the best he has had. It is in easy walking distance of the Westfield shopping centre and has good links with a bus service outside the hotel. dlr just a five minute walk away and all the services that supply the shopping centre, the tube, overground etc. Would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting in the future.

Stayed here for three nights over the bank holiday weekend to explore London to celebrate my partners 30th birthday.

We found it much cheaper to stay in stratford than central London. The hotel is close to a stop on the DLR (right hand side of the road, just past gala bingo) & it takes you to the stratford International tube stop where you can take the central line. My partner & I paid for a week long travel card (zones 1-3) and found this very useful.

We had a room on the 7th floor which had a great view - of canary wharf & various other buildings.. The room was quite hot at times and could benefit from air conditioning. Having the window open meant hearing all the traffic noise below. Our room had a walk in shower. The bathroom was clean but the shower seemed to have a slight problem draining which meant that the bathroom floor got quite wet.

My only complaint would be that we arrived at 1.30 and had to pay £10 to check in early - I know that isn't a lot but the room was ready for us, so why should we have to pay extra.

We stayed here for four nights 23rd- 27th May. I requested a high room floor after reading the other reviews. When we checked in the manager said we had been allocated the room as requested but the rooms on the upper floors were hot because of the heat wave the previous few days. He said we could change room if we wanted but we decided not to. The room was hot but they provided us with a fan, which did the trick. They also put us at the back of the hotel so it would be quieter.
The room was a standard Travelodge room. King sized bed, which was comfortable with two different types of pillows. The room was fairly small but good value for what we paid. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. There is a bar/restaurant inside the hotel, where you can have breakfast. I cannot comment on the food as we did not eat here. We did get ice from the bar however and there was no problem in doing this.
This hotel is well situated for trains and tubes with a bus stop right outside or you can walk to Stratford underground within 10 minutes from the hotel. The Westfield Centre also has lots of eateries, Waitrose and Marks and Spencer's food halls.
If you want a clean and well priced hotel in London I would recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Upper floor at the back

This hotel is usual Travelodge standard... No frills, no exes but great for Westfield shops and great travel time to events at O2 (took only 10-15 mins max after a show on Monday there). Very helpful and friendly lady on reception .would definitely stay again for a show at O2 or just shopping

Room Tip: Ask for off the road but make sure your not near extractors as they go on a bit ( although they do s...

I use Travelodge because of the price and convenience but generally expect tired looking rooms. This was exceptional. Very clean - 4 pillows on the very inviting double bed - and a bathroom that looked brand new and everything worked. The breakfast might not have been perfect was was still excellent value. Also, the most helpful and friendly set of employees I can remember.
