First things first, despite its name, this isn't a West End Theatre, it is a fringe theatre in inner London, to the south about 4 miles from the West End (off Broadway to Americans). It is listed on most Theatre websites so easy mistake to make. (I did and booked thinking it was a West End Theatre) However, what a great little find, never been to a fringe theatre before and after sussing that is what I had booked to attend, I may say I loved it. and if in London, you have to go to see live theatre like this at its best. £10 for a great professional production of 'Chekhov' comedies with the actors at breathing distance from you in a great little space which holds no more then 50 people. The theatre is in the basement of a three storey building near to New Cross rail station which is one stop from London Bridge and had lots of trains stopping there. It is a purpose built little theatre venue and has a little bar and try their chocolate beer, its yummy! The barman is really friendly and they only use unfiltered traditional beer on draft so no commercial samey samey lager. Nice night out trying something new in London
