We stayed 2 November 2013 for one night for a visit to the Royal Albert Hall, paying £75 for a double room. The room & bathroom were clean & warm; plenty of hot water & a powerful shower. The buffet breakfast was fine & Craven Hill Gardens is nice & quiet. The Reception staff are very friendly & obliging. We took the bus to/from the Albert Hall, as the bus stop was nearby, as are a couple of tube stations.
There are much "posher" hotels in this area, but no doubt their charges are much higher &, unless you plan to spend your visit to the capital inside your hotel, why pay more? We would definitely stay there again.
