“Hard to give it more that poor”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

Stayed two nights in the hotel. Except good location, near tube and on line to and from Heathrow I can not think anything more positive of the hotel. Tiny room, old rough bed, miniature TV, poor selection for breakfast, window that is locked and yet wind is coming into the room right next to you bed head.... Staff was ok.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with window that openes

The hotel is very conveniently located just one minutes walk from Earls Court Road tube station. I stayed for two nights in a single room. The facilities are excellent with an iron press, mini fridge.
The whole place is very clean and the furniture in the room was some period furniture with a beautiful wooden chest of drawers and chair. The whole place looks very classy and elegant. There is wifi, but it only works downstairs in the hotel lobby area. I only had the continental breakfast which was rather simple. The one other thing to note is that the hot water only seemed to be available after 7am, not very convenient if you have an early start to make.

Room Tip: I found this via the egencia website.

Good budget hotel close to the tube. Small cramped bathroom but no shortage of hot water. Room was cold during the day as they don't turn on the heat until 5:00 p.m. Cold cereal, breads, meats and cheeses for breakfast. Nothing special. Best bed we've enjoyed in Europe. Warm and soft with great pillows. Elevator was out for half our stay. Climbing 5 flights after a long day not all that pleasant.

I had to book myself into a hotel as I was moving house and needed to be in close proximity to work. My Place Hotel was the right choice! A really good room rate for a decent hotel room in a really expensive location. The room was just right for one person, a clean and tidy en-suite bathroom and I slept like a baby! Didn't have the time to stop for breakfast so I just grabbed a quick coffee before heading out the door. Thanking the nice Italian receptionist for her hospitality on the way out! If you are staying in Earls Court and want a good, value for money hotel, this place is pretty good!

We spent three nights at MyPlace in London. Especially enjoyed positive has given us the situation, which is really a great way to explore the sights in London. Also, the service at the reception: Here we were always given very good information and helped with problems immediately. The inclusive breakfast is is at not too high expectations in order: There were tea / coffee, orange, multi juice, toast, honey, two kinds of jam, sausage, cheese, cereal and corn flakes easily. At breakfast the service was good. If you want a full English breakfast with sausages, baked beans, etc., can acquire this for an additional nine pounds a day. Compromises you have to make it quite clear, however, but in the maintenance and there were some spots on the walls of the room (no mold), the whole room and especially the mattress made a very outdated impression. In addition, the walls are quite thin so noise from neighboring rooms are often audible. However, the cleanliness was okay, because the cleaning staff were hat.Es cleaned the room every day and fresh towels every day. All in all, I recommend this hotel, but only because of the location and the auxiliary shaft Even the staff at the front desk. For people who want a simple and clean place to stay for little money, fine, but at any luxury claims you should book another hotel but prefer.

Located in the center of Earls Court, near the tube station is My Place Hotel. Numerous international restaurants and fast food restaurants are nearby. There is also a laundry and dry cleaners, bakery, 3 or 4 supermarkets, currency exchange, several banks with ATMs and a Post Office, all within a block or two. There is easy access to both District and Piccadilly lines and buses. Nearby there is also a car service so early trips to Eurostar or Heathrow can easily be scheduled. Staff will arrange an early breakfast for early departures.. The location is excellent for getting about in London -- to museums, concerts and theatre....

Rooms at the hotel are medium size..larger than some others I've used in London, much larger than some used in Europe, but not as large as some US motel rooms. Bathrooms are good sized, modern, finished in white tile, and spotless. Traditional furnishings are comfortable and in good condition.

The breakfast rooms are bright, well lighted with 3 or 4 chandeliers, and cheerful .. with french doors opening onto a small patio and private garden. The breakfast buffet provides a generous variety of cold meats, cheese eggs, cereals fruit, yoghurts, etc. as well as toast and beverages.

Whenever passing through or staying in London, My Place is my choice for lodging...In the past several years I've stayed there somewhat over 120 nights. I've just completed a booking for Spring, 2014.

First of all, the location of this hotel is perfect. It's seconds away from Earls Court tube station, and there are a good few places to eat on the road - McDonalds, KFC, Wagamamas, Nandos to name a few.

Unfortunately the hotel cannot be classed as quite so perfect. Room was furnished very old-fashioned, and the window was almost completely blocked by the wall - I've never seen anything like it. The room was very hot, and the thermostat did nothing so we were very warm overnight. For the second night we mentioned it at reception, and she said she'd make it cooler. Seems the floor temperatures are controlled by the staff downstairs, which is also odd I think. Decor in room was a bit rough around the edges, but the bed was comfy and the tv and shower were pretty good.
Breakfast was continental. Very basic but adequate. £10 to upgrade to full English, which I think is very steep.
There's a nightclub under the hotel too. It didn't seem to be open every night but it was a bit noisy when it was open, so beware of this.

In summary, if you get a good deal for a London trip like we did from Superbreak, it's alright. Otherwise there's loads better out there.
