This was a pleasant stay. Room not big but ok. Great location. Breakfast could be better only toast, eggs and some cereal. The staff in breakfast could be more considered, the talk loud and it is not what you need in the morning.

Only stayed one night (phew) in a lower ground room, which we can safely rename as 'the dungeon'. Filthy window, dingy room, awful damp smell. Bed covers were dirty, sheets seemed clean, but because the rest of the room was so awful, I strongly suspect the cleaners just brush off the short and curlies (wispy joes) from the previous room occupants. Spare pillows had great big yellow sweat stains all over them. Cups were dirty. Tv only had Arabic channels. Taps had previous occupants toothpaste dribbled and sprayed over them. Rack in shower rusty. Bathroom just weirdly small. I really don't think I need to go on....basically, don't stay here if at all possible!!!

Room Tip: Run a mile if given a basement room!

Great spot if you're exhibiting at Earl's Court. Small but clean and tidy room with plenty of light coming from the tall windows. Fridge in the room for fruit from Marks&Spencer nearby. A choice of restaurants behind the corner. Oxford Hotel's continental breakfast includes hard boiled eggs. The wi-fi is paid separately but works great in your room. You can leave your stuff in their luggage room for GBP 5 and ours was safely collected by couriers the next day. Friendly and helpful staff.

I guess you get what You pay for. The rooms are so small you hardly have room to unpack your luggage. The washroom is so small the shower is right above the toilet. I have never seen anything like that. Make sure you remove all toilet paper from the washroom before you turn on the shower, otherwise it will all be wet. That said, you just stay there to sleep.

Thank you for your feedback.

We find the comment about being 4 ft tall innapropriate. Our beds are of standard size in the UK.
The property has been fully refurbished and it was approved by the local authorities. The concept of size is subjective. In Central London space comes at a premium. Our prices are very realistic and reflect the excellent services we provide for several years.

The hotel is suitable and cater for peoples of all sizes, not only for 4ft tall people as described on your ironic and highly innapropriate feedback.

Everything about this hotel leaves a lot to be desired! The rooms are very small and the bathroom is tiny; the shower cubicle is so small that a normal sized adult can't bend over in it. Our room came with 2 single beds however they were so narrow that I was in danger of falling out each time I rolled over!
Very worrying was the enormous amount of clutter in the public areas of the hotel. Fire exits and hallways were constantly blocked with supplies of linen, cartons, buckets, mops and vacuum cleaners. The hotel does have wifi but at 4 pounds for 2 hours it is expensive and unreliable. A free (very basic) continental breakfast is supplied. The room was reasonably priced, but you get what you pay for!
The one saving grace for this hotel is its location. It's just a five minute walk from Earl's Court station and there are several good pubs nearby serving nice meals.

Thank you for your feedback.

The hotel prides itself on our excellent record of health and safety. It is normal that during the hours the bedrooms are being serviced that there are housekeeping trolleys in corridors. This is applicable to any hotel in any country. This happens between the cleaning hours 11 am until 3 pm. After the housekeepers leave, all corridors are clear. We have procedures in place to make sure that all fire exits are always unobstructed at all times.

The information that the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the underground station is completely incorrect, it is a 2 minute walk. Earl's Court is a lovely area, with countless pubs, good restaurants and a very safe neighbourhood.

As for the size of the rooms, they are very average for a hotel of this category and on this location. Our prices are very reasonable. Should you wish to book a large room in another property you will be paying a premium rate, especially during the summer season.

Charges for wifi are advertised on our website and on bookings agents, so it is known fact that wifi charges apply before the reservation is made.

We wish you happy travels in the future !

We were cancelled on two days before we were due to travel. Good job i checked my emails otherwise we would have been stranded. Seems like a good hotel and with the price even better, however i would be careful booking here after being cancelled on so close to the date of travel. We had to spend 4 hours looking for an alternative hotel.

Thank God i checked my emails as they didn't call to tell me!

The reservations can be cancelled as per terms and conditions if clients supply invalid card details. As cards need to be pre authorised prior to arrival, clients are expected to provide a valid credit card number. The reservations are cancelled by their booking agents and emails are sent informing the clients that their card is invalid, allowing time to rectify. The hotel does not cancel reservations unless transactions are declined, cards are invalid or due to fraudulent reservations.
