The only thing positive is the location. All the rest is terrible starting for the cleanliness of the rooms. The "private" bathroom was in another corridor with the door always open to everyone.
In other words : disgusting

We roomed here for 6 nights with a side trip to Paris in between. The room was cozy but fine (very small bathroom, but clean) for 2 adults and 2 kids. The breakfast was simple (toast, jam, eggs, coffee, tea) but we saved a lot of money by using the kitchen for dinners (try Marks & Spencer up the street). Very close to the Tube and only 2 stops from several wonderful and free museums. The staff was great about keeping our bigger suitcase when we went to Paris. Would recommend if you are looking for an affordable place with a good location and friendly staff.

Great location as its right next to Earls court tube station. Lots of shops and restaurants just down the road. Helpful staff. Basic but clean room. Good value for money if you just need it for a base to visit London centre.

£315 for 3 nights between 5 people. We all received single beds which were changed every day. The free breakfast was fine; toast, tea/coffee and eggs.

Surprised at all the negative reviews; for the price it is a good budget stop in London; staff were helpful, rooms were clean (maybe a little wear and tear but not bad) and the overall experience was that of a B&B.

Although our destination was a bit far out (Excel Centre), the location of the hotel itself is but 3-4 minutes away by foot from Earl's Court Underground which makes it an ideal spot to travel from.

The only downsides I would point out are the single plug socket (bring an extension lead) and the en suites; they are tiny and thus was difficult to use!

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 10, can't comment on the other rooms sadly.

Our young school children from the Czech Republic and all our teachers fully enjoyed the hotel. Staff were extremely helpful at all times, the rooms were always clean and very cosy and the hotel was safe and friendly. We especially enjoyed the kitchen facilities and being able to store all of our Tesco food there and make cheap lunches on our budget. We would come back again and again to this hotel. We recommend it for school groups especially and anyone travelling on a budget.

Reading some of the comments that describes Windsor House Hotel as horrible I wonder what people expect from a Bed and Breakfast? I must admit that I haven't tried a lot of budget hotels in Great Britain, but at the price level - with such a good location - I was not disappointed with Windsor House Hotel. I was there recently with a Group of Junior High School students (age 15-16). As a group on a budget tour our alternative was Youth Hostels. So we expected this to be Bed and Breakfast. I think that is also how it is generally described on webpages? From what we read on internet we also expected that some of us had to share showers with more rooms on the same floor. But it turned out that each room had its own little cubicle with toilet, sink and shower. So even though we found these cubicles a bit odd in the beginning, they did the trick, and we had our own shower. So to us the cubicles were a nice surprise. It seems that it is all about expectations. We had small rooms and big rooms. In the big rooms we slept four or five persons. But again we expected it to be like that, since that was the price level we were on. I just checked Euston on the internet since one of the other reviewers moved there. Judged from the pictures that of course seems to be something totally different, but so is the price: Around 85£ pr. person/night without breakfast, we paid around 29 £ including breakfast at Windsor House Hotel. In fact the difference (56£ a day) covers all we spent pr. person on lunch, dinner and experiences each day. Comparing Windsor and Euston seems as comparing pears and apples, it is in the same category but still basicly it is two different things. And at the price level for Windsor we got what we expected: A ok Bed, a (very plain) Breakfast, a Shower at each room (actually more than expected) and clean (but admittedly a bit worn) rooms. But then again we had something more: A very friendly and patient staff.

Disappointed with the 'Big Breakfast'...it just means boiled eggs!!
Our room was very small and smelt damp. The showers were tiny cubicles.
Would not recommend this hotel. There are many other Hotels to choose from on this street.

Room Tip: Lots of other Hotels on this street. Good location near Underground station.
