“Good for a pizza”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

In it's glory days this was the perfect Italian. But they lost the chef that made it so great and have never really recovered. It's just ok now, good for a quick pizza and the service is excellent but a sad shadow of it's former glory.

“Surprisingly, great!”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

I can honestly say that this was one of the best Italian meals me and my boyfriend have ever had.

We chose this place initially because of the Tastecard discount. It is located in quite a dodgy area of Bethnal Green, so we did not expect that much of it. Yet, we were really positively surprised by the atmosphere in this authentic Italian place and by the quality of food.

We ordered an antipasti selection for starter and then pizza and pasta for mains, everything was great. Freshly made, great flavors, and quickly prepared.

Would definitely recommend to everyone who wants to try delicious Italian cuisine not spending a fortune.

“Authentic Italian, great value”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

We were staying this week at the Town House Hotel in Bethnal Green (which is very nice) and were at a loss one evening for somewhere to walk to. We took a chance on this little low-key Italian and were very pleasantly surprised. I has the special of crab stuffed ravioli and it was delicious - obviously cooked from scratch. Kids had pizza, also excellent. Friendly, relaxed and really good value. Very much recommend it.

“Loved the food!”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

Two of us visited, and we had a nice meal. The pizza bread (garlic mozzarella bread) was delicious. The wine was alright, but there could be more choice, and they did not have steak (the bloke does not like Italian food - pizza and pasta), but he managed to try a chicken dish and really liked it. I had the breaded chicken with pasta, and it was nice.

Unfortunately, we had to rush before dessert (darn!), because the food was a bit slow to arrive. The waitress was really friendly. Only downsides was there could have been more a selection of wine, they ran out of one of the dishes, and they were a bit slow with the food. But, I'll still give this a 5-star review because we enjoyed it.
