This basic hotel has small rooms, main draws being reasonably priced for London and at a stone throw from st Pancras station. No elevator, stairs a bit narrow with big suitcases. If you are looking for a budget option in London its a good choice.

Small but clean rooms people were pleasant, hotel was nice, no lift. Breakfast was great! and so close to all transport! We were a family of 4 and able to share the one room. Good choice for budget travelers.

Small but good rooms. Reception people were friendly. Breakfast needs some fruits. Ambulances and polices were driving there at night so that might wake you up. There was wifi too for customers and that was very useful. Valueable for money. I will go next time too. And there was a cute dog. :D

I've stayed at the Crestfield on two separate business trips and found it very adequate for my need for a budget hotel in a good location (then again, I don't spend much time inside the hotel when I'm in London). I think it's a very good choice for budget travelers. The location is superb, just steps from St Pancras and yet the neighborhood is fine and not dirty or dangerous.
The staff are very nice and helpful and the front door is kept locked, so people need to be buzzed in. I was a little nervous about leaving my luggage there all day but the holding area is in the view of reception and in the end it was ok.
The bathrooms are of a standard size for a budget hotel in London and the beds are of a standard budget-level comfort and quality. Nothing is luxurious but it's adequate and good value for the location in central London.
Breakfast is very basic, but adequate with toast, cereals, coffee and hard boiled eggs.
All in all, I highly recommend this hotel for the budget traveler to London.

Room Tip: Rooms that face the street may not have enough privacy, especially as the curtains tend not to close...

This is a nice B&B that offers the basics for a good price within the outageous prices of London. The staff was very friendly (most of them were Lithuanians) and they gladly offered us tips on transportation, places of interest, etc. The room was small but nice. However, there was an unexcusable problem in the bathroom: the shower had no enclosures or shower pan to stop the water from splashing through the entire bathroom. Therefore, if you were to brush your teeth or use the toilet after someone had taken a shower, you had to literally walk over a puddle of water on the floor. Since I don't know if this situation was the same for every room, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and still consider the hotel worth staying at.

Room Tip: If traveling with bulky luggage, mind the stairs, which are the only way up.

Clean, basic hotel if you need to stay overnight near Euston / Kings X / St Pancras stations. Luggage-luggable distance from the last 2, which are on the direct tube line (Piccadilly) from Heathrow. Good stopover hotel, somewhat grungy surroundings, fulfills a need for a brief necessary stay. A bit like a rabbit-warren inside, no lift, no phone or clock in room.Pleasant staff.I would stay here again, under the same circumstances, but not for more than a day or 2.

Convenient for St Pancras I found the hotel perfectly adequate and the staff very friendly and helpful.
My room was in an annexe accross the courtyard and was somewhat in need of some TLC, especially the shower and seperate WC.
The breakfast was very basic but was perfectly OK and for and all inclusive price of £65 for central London was reasonable.
