“Great location for Wimbledon”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

We stayed here for Wimbledon this year. The hotel's location is perfect for reaching the courts! Our room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. It is a pretty basic hotel really but perfect for a short few day's stay. Th breakfast was lovely. There are lots of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. around the area also, which was handy. We'd stay here again!

We stayed for Wimbledon, location was super, rooms and all of hotel spotless. There are some lovely bars in the area and the transport links were excellent. The No 39 bus caught from round the corner goes straight there. Would stay again.

Stayed here for one night stopover when going to Wimbledon this week. Very happy with accommodation, breakfast and staff. Hotel is fairly basic but clean and well located for a short stay in London. Would definitely stay again if coming to London for a couple of days.

Room Tip: We had a room on the road side but the traffic didn't bother us too much.

This hotel is right by the river Thames and a short walk to many bars and restaurants. we booked this hotel to visit Wimbledon which is only a no 39 bus ride away. The hotel was well equipped clean and tidy. It had everything needed for a short break. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. No complaints. The only issue is probably the traffic noise, but this is London.

We chose this hotel for a 2 night mini break to include a Friday night show and Saturday at Wimbledon. It is in a great location, close to shopping and a walk across Putney Bridge to the tube. Just across the road from Putney Wharf with pubs/restaurants.
Reception is manned through the day, but not overnight, access is via a card to hotel and room. Room was spotlessly clean, super shower. Air conditioning works well. Also worth mentioning - great restaurant & takeaway next door Rasa Penang - fantastic menu, beautifully cooked.

Room Tip: I imagine rooms at the back would be quieter, none available on asking. However we could see the ri...

This hotel is a modern building located on the West end of Putney Bridge road. On arrival you will find the door to the reception area locked and that you are confronted by a computerised entry system that to some of us older generation requires the talents of a Krypton Factor contestant to navigate. However we were eventually recognised as having pre-booked and issued with entry cards which worked. As nobody could be seen in reception we went straight to our allocated room. This was clean and utilitarian in design with some small shelves and part hanging space for storage, there being no wardrobe or cupboards. The en-suite provided the usual with large shower but no bath.
There is no restaurant in the hotel, but this is not a disadvantage as the surrounding streets provide plenty of choice. The breakfast selection was very satisfactory for a hotel of this category.
Whilst we had requested a "quiet room" regrettably the occupants of the adjacent room showed no consideration for other guests by moderating the loudness of their conversation on their arrival at 2.00 a.m. and compounded the situation by banging on our room door at 6 a.m. presumably mistaking it for their own.
Would we stay again? Probably not. I think that I would prefer to pay a little extra for a hotel that has a clientel with more considerate standards.

This small hotel doesn't bother with a cafe or bar. There is no need as there is plenty of choice on its doorstep. Subsequently, they can charge an area-busting price of sub-£100 for a double room, with pristine bathroom and decor. Others in the area are double the cost. Breakfast was more than adequate, even the room card is modern and efficient. Recommended

Room Tip: lovely and quiet at the back
