“Nice place for a quick grab”
Reviewed 19 November 2013

Went in for a quick sandwich, looked like most sandwich shops you found around town. Did not expect much, especially noting the price is quite low as well for their meal deal.

Anyway, friendly staff, and huge sandwich. It was so big I only ate half and saved the other half for later the same day.

Had the chicken and bacon, bacon cutted up a bit too finely, chicken breast was good, lettuce and mayo is quite nice too, but the bread, it was really soft and tasty. As well as the cheese was good.
The way they sandwich press their sandwiches also made it even better then a 2 cold slice served with cold meat...

Would totally recommend for a quick grab.

“Friendly value and tasty”
Reviewed 5 July 2013

Maybe there are a thousand others almost like it in Lomdon but this one appeals because it is convenient to this bit of Holborn where we are often in single night hotels keen to get up and away and need a good breakfast or snack. I like the simple appeal, unassuming, non hassle approach and competitive pricing.

“Fairly average with some old charm”

Just on the busy thoroughfare of kingsway, this small pocket sized cafe does mega ciabattas. Some good deals on offer. Especially attractive after a few pints.
