3 nights stay at the Carlton in Kings Cross, Very clean and good breakfast each morning. Wonderful atmosphere, my regular place to visit and sure will continue in staying here.
Excellent ! Many thanks in making my stay enjoyable.
Cheers

Room Tip: If you have issues, speak to the managers...they are friendly and very approachable and very helpful

Apart from the central location, this hotel rated very poor. We booked one room for two people and although I expect that this compromises on space, this room was definitely not suitable for two double beds. The room itself was smelly, stuffy and not clean. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was horrid; the shower screen glass was broken, making it quite dangerous. There was a tap especailly for drinking water mounted directly above the other taps, which was inpractical. There were black damp stains and a window that didn't open. Allthough the breakfast was ok, the dining room was too small and staff could not keep up with supplying the food, cleaning the tables and providing clean crockery and cutlery.

We stayed for 7 nights in Carlton Hotel. Towels were changed and room was done daily. Breakfast was good. One day on our stay we had to get the Eurostar very early so we didn't had any worries to be there on time coz we had just to cross the road. No frills and all, but the location is perfect. One thing I was unsatisfied was the internet in room. In the mornings it was extremely slow and in the evenings I couldn't connect at all. Internet in the lobby was quite good, but definitely not in the room.

We paid £69 per night, which is not too much for London. We needed a place near to Eurostar. Clean and warm (after reporting the lack of heating), quite noisy. I think it was music from the pub near by. Service... nothing to be delighted with but nothing to complain either. For an overnight stay I think it is a good option if you find it for this price.

In the cheapest central late room booking band but Kings Cross is disgusting: every 10m there are 3 piles of vomit; noisey, comfortable bed and room bigger than average but I would not stay here again: cannot sneak a visitor in as reception is opposite front door; breakfast very poor, coffee inedible, shower tiny, old fittings, some broken, no tea/coffee/light/drinking water bulbs in room. better cheap hotel locations were Baywater/Sussex Gardens or even Victoria. Definitely not a family hotel just a single person on a budget. I would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Very noisey station side but never mind the room change the location.
