Staff were helpful and friendly,room and bathroom were very good,although I never managed to have any hot water for a bath,breakfast was ok but big queues to get seated and the eggs were hard on both days,I would return but would hope for hot water in the bath and more organisation in breakfast restaurant

The hotel was in a great location to explore the city and ideal for my business trip. WiFi cost was a bit much and breakfast not worth it most days but still a good deal. Staff were friendly and responsive to the fact that it was quite hot in London and provided a fan as needed.

I stayed here for the first time for two nights this week, one of the best novotels I have ever used and it compares very favourably with other similar standard hotels in this area of London.

I had a good sized bedroom and the bathroom is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

My only issue was that the mattress on my bed was very firm, but that's a purely personal thing and didn't really detract from the comfort of the room.

I had breakfast both mornings and there is a good range of food, well prepared and presented.

Overall I rated this hotel amongst the best I've stayed in for business and hope to be back soon

Two stays at this hotel in 2 weeks, with a very mixed experience; and worth pointing out I don't stay at Accor hotels as a rule because of poor policy around disabled guests (see my review about the Pulman St Pancras scrapping disabled parking bays), but this was booked by a client.

Stay 1 was the worst. Booked wheelchair accessible accommodation and the room was distinctly ungenerous in size; a wheelchair user would struggle. And the bed was an odd contraption; mattress half the thickness of normal mattresses and really uncomfortable. Room service for dinner and breakfast was slow (and on standard voicemail - I had no idea whether I was leaving a message for room service - so had to take my order to reception) despite the fact there were very few guests in the hotel; food not great and not as described on the menu. One of the reasons I really dislike staying in hotels is expensive and badly cooked food. Such a rip off. They took the price of the evening meal off the bill, but it's not really the point.

And I had to move rooms because the workdesk lamp wasn't working. Why don't they check these things when they service the room?

Reception staff were unable to answer my questions about the car park because 'it belongs to the hotel next door.' But the hotel next door is an Ibis, which is also owned by parent company Accor. Why don't these people talk to each other? Why aren't staff up to date on services which guests are going to want to use when they stay at the hotel?

Stay 2 was better - food a definite improvement in terms of quality and speed, and steered clear of the wheelchair accessible room this time, so got a good bed with a decent mattress. Room was clean, and a decent shower with a snazzy device that makes the see through window opaque! So good enough for me, but I feel for my wheelchair using buddies. The security scanner on the lift (you have to use your key card) broke, so had to walk up to the first floor. Really annoying. But I avoided the rip off breakfast (£15.50??? No way!) - went to M & S 2 minutes away and bought some lovely things for a third of the price.

Despite the things that were OK, it gets only two stars because, for a price of £200 per night plus food, I expect better. But as I said, I avoid Novotel, Mecure, Pulman and Ibis hotels because Accor's policies on disabled guests are just poor. Stay somewhere else.

Room Tip: Accessible rooms are not great - if you're disabled check that you can get all your needs met.

Upon arrival, front desk staff was welcoming and helpful with loads of infomation around the area, very essential for first time visitor for any area.
Room to fit in family of 4 is a bit tiny but can make do just for a couple of days.
Healthy Breakfast was offered as well as the usual things.
Location is quite good with 10 mins easy walk to the Underground stations (Tube).
