“Very good business hotel”
Reviewed 17 April 2012

Good choice for business travelers. The room has a nice desk with conveniently placed outlets. The free WiFi is excellent, with zero sign-on so you can very easily connect all your laptops/tablets/smartphones without navigating sign-on pages and entering codes. Mid-day I was able to get ~12 Mbps (up & down) from the room on speedtest.net, plenty fast for calling home on FaceTime, etc. I led a conference call using GoToMeeting (VoIP/screensharing) with an excellent connection the whole time. The in-room safe is big enough to fit a 15" MacBook Pro. Something a little bit larger might fit, but I wouldn't count on it. The iMac is a nice touch, and handy if you want to check something quick and don't want to drag out the laptop. Also appreciated is the JBL speaker system connected to the iMac, very easy to pop the plug into your iPod to listen to some music. Check-in time is officially 3pm, but I checked in at 1pm with no issues. Service was prompt. Shortly after check-in, I called down and asked for some extra towels. They arrived in less than 5 minutes. The second day, I noticed that the mini-fridge wasn't working, so I called and a replacement fridge arrived in 15-20 minutes and was swapped in less than 2 minutes. The bathroom in this room is a bit cramped, with no tub, only a shower, but is clean and modern and serviceable. The gym is decent sized with a good selection of newer equipment.

Have used this Hotel for both business and pleasure in the past, and have never been dissapointed.Location is so convenient for Westminster/Whitehall/Trafalgar Square/River Thames/St James Park and so on.
The staff are a fantastic asset, always courteous and willing to go that extra distance to be of assistance. As always enjoyed a drink in the Millbank Lounge, good relaxing atmosphere and tasteful decor, try the house cocktails!
Room very clean and spacious, bed very comfortable, fantastic breakfast in a spic and span dining room - manager very courteous and efficient.
Stayed for two nights Thursday and Friday for my wifes birthday.
No complaints - have also used the Manchester (four times) and Glasgow (one stay) hotels of similar high standard.

Stayed just one night with my husband and daughter. We had a King City Suite which was fantastic. Spacious suite with fabulous views over the river. Everything was just right, including the room service food, if a little pricey.
Great location just a short stroll from the river and along to Palace of Westminster. Nice quiet leafy area particularly on the weekend as it is mostly office buildings in the direct vicinity. Staff excellent. Will definitely stay here next time I am in London.

Room Tip: King city suite great for more than 2 adults sharing.

Good quiet location, excellent reception and staff. Modern clean room and bathroom, well equipped. Loved the i mac. Regularly stay in other Hiltons in London - think this is now my favourite.

I stayed here this week for business and was happy with the hotel in general

Good points: free wifi, iMac in room, good size room with comfy bed, friendly staff, good choice of breakfast items

Not so good points: iron didn't work too well, hard pillows, light not working on dresser, poor finish on sink unit (1 inch gap between base and top)

Would I stay here again? Yes definitely for business, maybe not for leisure as not very close to main London attractions.

This is one of those places that does the job, it offers a comfortable, newly-decorated room in a central location; but you don't feel you are swimming in luxury either. We spent one night and we were happy with our stay. I should say we didn't use any of the facilities of the hotel so we can only comment on the room and the service at check-in and out which were both fine. It's nice that they have free of charge internet (and a Mac!) in the room. My only negative comment is that the mattress was not very comfortable, at least it wasn't for me. Still, we would stay here again if we find another deal.

Nice location close to tourist attractions and tube stops. Not much happening in the area at night, but bus lines are close to get to other areas. It was great that we were able to check in at 9am since we came in on a redeye flight. The cookie was great of course and the room was clean and comfortable. Had a nice view of the city. Would return if I got a similar rate.
