I spent a lot of time searching for hotels on the internet for our first trip to England. I found the Premier Inn chain and booked us in several different cities. We are a family of two adults and two teenagers. London was tricky because there are so many to choose from, and I wasn't sure the best location. After almost picking a different Premier Inn I sort of stumbled on this one and knew it was the right one: right by the river, with the very old Anchor pub as its restaurant, and with so many great things to walk to. You could walk outdoors and find so many different restaurants, a thriving nightlife, lots of sights to see and a fascinating neighborhood- then walk into the small courtyard and hotel and find peace and quiet.
Beds are comfortable, the bathroom was bright and clean, with the longest bathtub I've ever seen and enjoyed. The staff was great and we left our bags for a few hours after checking out since we had a mid-afternoon train. It's a little tight for four people, with three beds--(but we parents had a great big one) but it was very nice for when we were back home at night.
I loved being here and will definitely stay again if we return to London.
