Stayed here for a weekend after a business meeting in London. We took an apartment on the 4th floor, suitable for 2 people.

Very happy with the apartment - clean and well equipped. Everything was working and in good condition. For London, the apartment was of decent size.

Location was superb!! Just a few minutes walk to the Bayswater station, and even closer to the nearest bus stop. Restaurants were in abundance, with every cuisine possible.

If I could suggest an improvement, it would be the rain shower. It was not working too well, and water spray was weak. In addition, kitchen paper towels would help.

Overall, would certainly recommend this place, and we will certainly stay here again on our next visit.

Room Tip: Get a room on the higher floor.

My husband and I stayed here for 12 nights in October, 2013. The location was fantastic, close to a tube station, grocery stores and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and always friendly. The studios (2 stays) were perfect for our needs. The bed, lighting, kitchen appliances, etc were all totally fine. Although the studios were small, there was plenty of storage. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in a studio on business for 2 nights in November 2013.
Notified the hotel about my delayed arrival, so that they were able to welcome me (they close reception during the night).
Th studio was very clean, had all necessary amenities, and spacious.
Bayswater underground station was conveniently located at 5 minutes walk.
Shops, pubs, and restaurants were nearby, with Pret a Manger a useful breakfast option nearby.
Would recommend.

Arriving in London for the first time in 30 years, we found the Space Apart to be exactly the quiet base from which to launch our travels. The apartment room had everything you could need, and the fittings were comfortable and functional, the bathroom tiny but lovely, and with opening windows to let in the sounds of birds in the morning. It was an easy walk to lots of shops, restaurants, a choice of tube stations and Hyde Park for a relaxing stroll. We would recommend the Space Apart highly for the independent traveller.

I am currently staying at the Space Apart Hotel and can not recommend it more highly. I have booked a premium studio, which is well worth the upgrade from the standard studio. Located on the top floor overlooking the street, the room is bright with high ceilings and lots of space. I like the hotel because of the modern styling. Locally everywhere I looked at online was more traditional old style. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Good value for London.

In late September with our adult daughter in tow we visited London and stayed at the Space Apart Hotel in Bayswater. The Hotel provides more of an apartment setup but there is a helpful attendant at the front desk much of the time. The staff was very accommodating and in response to our request, arranged a first floor unit that contained an upper loft that served as a separate sleeping area for my wife and I. The Hotel was recently renovated and has a modern décor and full modern kitchen, which was ideal for preparing a quick breakfast so we could get an early start on the day. The Hotel also is nearby two key train lines, the Central Line (the faster Line) and the Circle Line, which will take you to many of the key London tourist destinations. The immediate area contains a number of fine restaurants on Westbourne Grove and some of the surrounding streets. We particularly enjoyed Hafez, Assagi and Pizza East Portobello, which is a bit further but worth the trek. Although we like the area and Hotel, our primary reservation involved the bathroom where the shower was fully open causing much of the bathroom to become wet when you shower, an inconvenience especially when you consider that the room accommodated 3 adults.

Room Tip: Rooms with loft on the first floor were very comfortable for three adults.

We booked this hotel based on all the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. When we checked in they gave us a room in the basement number B04. The bathroom was so small and one could hardly enter the shower. There were 2 large hot water boilers in the room which provided hot water for the building which seemed as a safety hazard. The room seems to be designed around a corridor as it is very narrow and long. The gentlemen that checked us in wasn't very friendly. In fact he was stuck up. I requested for a room change and he offered me a even tinier room a flight of stairs in front of the lobby and he had a "take it or leave it attitude". The next day another gentlemen by the name of Philip (very friendly and helpful) offered us another room in the basement. Room B05. Although the room was also extremely tiny it was square and alot more practical. Again take it or leave it so we had no choice but to accept it. The room had a small tiny window that is covered up so we could not look out. This hotel offered no housekeeping and zero service. For long stay guest, they would have to wash the sheets, towels and take the rubbish out themselves. We paid GBP140 per night and its way over priced for a hotel with no housekeeping or breakfast. There are plenty of better choice for that price.
On the positive side the hotel is well located. It is just 10 minutes walk to the restaurants & Tube station in Bayswater.
There are better rooms at this hotel and we were allocated a lousy one. If you are planning to book this hotel, you must specify that you do not want a room in the basement or the rooms facing the reception area as that will really ruin your stay.

Room Tip: Do not accept rooms in the basement.
