Have just enjoyed a 3 night break at this hotel and wouldnt hesitate to go back should we come back to London.
Reception staff are very helpful & friendly, especially Arthur who went out of his way to help us, nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was located on the ground floor at the front of the building but can honestly say it was very quiet even though we were right on the road.
Bathroom was very compact but we had all we needed.
The location of this hotel is excellent as its only 3 mins walk to the Bayswater tube station.
All in all this hotel represents great value for money!

Room Tip: We had room 801 was very quiet

Just returned from Princes Square, and what a surprise! I was a bit reluctant to book this hotel due to the reviews, and because it was so cheap, I thought it must be a bit dingy or miles away from anything but we needed somewhere asap so I just took the risk! I'm so glad I did...I've discovered a little gem!! This hotel is literally 10 mins walk away from the gorgeous Kensington Palace and Hyde Park, 5 mins from the tube station (which is the circle & district line, so easy for lots of tourist attractions) There are a few nice restaurants, tesco express, banks etc... opposite the tube station, so you don't need to go right into the city centre if your looking for a meal.
The hotel itself was lovely, nice receptionist, lots of information in the hotel lobby about attractions, a lift, a place to leave luggage when you check-out of your room, the list goes on! It was so quiet around the hotel too, we slept really well and yes, the room was small but jesus your in the centre of London, if you want a suite you have to pay for it! It drives me mad that people pay near to nothing but then expect the bloody Ritz!
There was a place to hang clothes, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, a clean bathroom with a great power shower, everything was immaculate. We had breakfast too, which was great, lots of different breads, fruits, cereals, yoghurts, juices etc... then we were asked if we wanted the full english, which we weren't expecting so that was great too. The breakfast staff were lovely too, making sure we had finished with everything before they started to clear away! I cant recommend this place enough! If you looking for somewhere modern, clean, quiet and friendly that is within easy reach of all the hustle and bustle then this is the place for you! Cant wait to return!

Room Tip: We stayed in 108, which is on the first floor at the front of the hotel - absolutely no problems!

I am not sure how that could happen - arrived late at night. Got an ok room. After 20 minutes I realised I am hearing a noise - opened the window and realised the room is located right next to a huge electricity transformation station (well hidden in the neighbourhood).
Couldn't sleep all night - and just think of the radiation.

Management did nothing that night to help out. was moved the next day.

Stay away!

Room Tip: Rooms near the electric power station - noisy + radiation ?

Room were clean, and staff were approachable and friendly. Offered luggage storage before and after check in.

Close to Tube station 'Bayswater' to easily access the rest of London.

However - on both occasions we did pay for breakfast online, but stated we needed to pay despite this. We were able to show them confirmation, but one to look out for!

Came to London just for a quick trip and went to the Bayswater shopping Mall and when we came out we decided to do an over nighter and this hotel popped up in a random choice .
when we got there we were greeted by a very pleaseant lady who showed us our room and told us all about the sights to see the room was very nice and adequate. all the staff were very polite and helpful will definately use here again.

The hotel is well located for holiday makers or the business traveller being close to the shopping and restaurant area of Bayswater and within walking distance of popular Notting hill. Hyde Park is also close and there are three nearby underground stations making it easy to visit other parts of London. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and good value for money. As I am a frequent business traveller to this part of London, I have stayed in several hotels in this area and this one is the best I have found in this price range.

We stayed over the weekend. Lovely hotel with really great location. Just 5 minutes walk to the Bayswater underground station and little further Queensway station. Fabulous restaurants and shops are around. Hyde Park and Notting Hill Gate is just in a walking distance. Room was clean and cozy, furnished well. We had really helpful information from the reception during our stay at the hotel. All these just for affordable price. I would love to book again.
