We booked a Chelsea football package and could not fault anything about our stay, from check in to check out there was nothing we could find to complain about. We booked a Club Room which comes with free minibar in your room, match day tickets with fantastic seats at the ground, and our evening meal was served in the sister hotel The Copthorne across the courtyard. The meal was gorgeous a la carte, service was really good, and the choice on the menu was really good.

The nearest tube station to the hotel is Fulham Broadway and its only a few minutes walk to the tube station, there are lots of bars and restaurants in the area, but where the hotel is located its very easy to get back to the centre of London in around 10-15 minutes.

We will definitely be booking another match day package for next year (2015) and I would recommend this hotel for couples, families or even business as it caters for everyone. Fantastic Stay!!

Room Tip: Book a Club Room if possible as the little extras you get including FREE minibar in your room, canap...

We arrived late on a Friday evening and decided to take a cap from Victoria to the hotel instead of grabbing the tube. It costed 26 gbp. Check-in was smooth and friendly. We had a standard room facing towards the river (no river view). Nice, clean room, good size and nice, clean bathroom. We went for a morning-run along the river and we got a couple of good suggestions from the hotel staff about where to go for a run. The hotel is in a nice area with lots of cafe's where you could eat breakfast. Check-out was smooth as well, and we only had a 5 minute walk to the tube (Fulham Broadway). It took us just about 30 minutes to get to Piccadilly Circus due to some maintenance work at the tube the following morning - normally it would take approx. 20 minutes. There's not much to say other than they deliver on what you expect from a 4-star hotel.

Just to be clear to readers, the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels are two hotels; the Copthorne is actually part of the Stamford Bridge Stadium, the Millennium is approximately 45 meters away. Bear in mind that Breakfast is served in ‘55’ situated in the Copthorne, so you could possibly get wet going from one to the other.
Arrived on a Friday night, went to the Copthorne first and was informed that we had been upgraded to the Millennium, having stayed at neither not sure if this was true; I was informed that the check-in staff there would be notified that we were on our way. True to his word, we were greeted and paper work already to check and sign.
Our room was on the 5th floor, it was clean and ample for our needs of a one night stay (looking at pictures it was a standard room). We ate at Marco’s grill that evening and returned to our room about 11:30pm. Both my wife and I slept well (to us on a very comfortable bed) so much so we were late getting up for breakfast which finishes at 10am. Bearing in mind we had to cross over to the other hotel and up a flight of escalators to reach ‘55’ restaurant, which we did with 15 minutes to spare. We were shown to our table and asked what drink we would like. Most things were running down, but still enough for us to choose from, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, cereals, milk, toast and spreads. The food on the whole was not bad and at least it was hot. The staff were clearing up around us but never made us feel that we had to hurry up eating and leave.

So we were expecting good things from this place but no. The room was nice and comfortable.
There were errors though. We went to our room and the cleaner was still cleaning it! So moved rooms. We went to our new room and the carpet was dirty.
First night the room was cold and had to get a heater which they provided, the system in the room just did not heat the room up at all. They said they would look at it the next day, they did and made no difference.
The sink would not drain properly so buy the time it did you were left with a mucky sink.
Second night the bar was closed when we got back about 1130, we did go to frankies but they ran out of the drinks we liked and also the food we ordered.
So we ordered a drink to our room which took 20 min to arrive.
We asked over the phone for the prices he told us it would be £22.50 for this wine we ordered. We said fine put it on our room, at first he said there is no card registered, which we did when we checked in, he brought it up any way.

Went to check out and our room bill was over £50, and it was a phone call and a bottle of wine we had to pay for. We never touched the phone and said the only thing we had to pay for was the wine, he said fine that will be £30 something!
So we told him we were told it was £22.50 as well as all the other issues we had and what did he do for us, just charged us what we are told in the first place for the wine, ge thanks!

Altogether a little disappointing for the hotel they are trying to be.

Plus point good area and Alberto was very efficient and helpful

We stay here usually once a year for a match-day weekend - a chance for dinner nearby (this time in Earl's Court), a long lay-in the next morning, a lazy breakfast and then of course the main event - watching our beloved Chelsea in action at Stamford Bridge.

We were late checking in due to transport difficulties - we found the check in staff to be a little officious (first of all they couldn't find our reservation and then there was a discussion between them as to which room we should be allocated) - they were helpful though in loaning us a phone charger to re-charge a depleted iPhone.

We just about managed to get a late evening drink at Frankie's bar as it was closing - after being re-directed to a near deserted hotel bar (some-what lacking in atmosphere) we decided to retire to our room (a standard double) which was clean and comfortable enough with a large comfortable bed - otherwise a bit on the basic side (not much different to a Premier Inn).

Breakfast was disappointing. The selection of cooked food needed replenishing with freshly cooked items - bacon rashers had dried out and floating in oil - fried eggs had solidified - no scrambled egg. I've had much better cooked breakfasts in motorway service stations at far less cost. Breakfast staff were mostly concerned with clearing and re-laying tables for lunch - it felt as if by having a late breakfast we were getting in their way - not the leisurely Sunday morning we had hoped for. This was the only aspect that I felt was quite poor and needed to be improved upon - not very good value or quality for the price paid.

Overall a brief and comfortable enough stay - we'll probably stay again (the location is excellent for Chelsea fans from out of town) - we'd hesitate to use the breakfast facility though (plenty of good cafes in nearby Earls Court or the King's Road).

Most of our visit was either good or very good apart from the breakfast so, on this visit, we can only score the place as "average"

The hotel is adjacent to Chelsea Football Club with couple of Dine inn's - Marco Pierre White Grill & Frankies next to the hotel. The room and bathroom are spacious and well furnished. During match days reaching hotel is tough as the roads are flooded with Chelsea fans..

Non Chelsea fans... you might not want to stay as the room settings are perfect for Chelsea fans like Blue pillows.

Low speed complimentary wifi.. For high speed one - you need to pay..

Only drawback is the hotel charges for the Fitness centre. 25 Pounds per person per day

Tube station is also nearby.

Overall a great experience.

We have just got back from a 2 night stay at the Millennium. The hotel is adjacent to Chelsea Football Club with a Marco Pierre White Grill on site too. The hotel room and bathroom was spacious and well furnished. The staff here are friendly and efficient. When we arrived we asked for directions to Chutney Mary as we were eating there the first evening. Within a few minutes a member of staff had brought a map to our room, highlighting where it was. There is plenty to choose from at breakfast, from juices, fruit, cereal toast etc to the more unhealthy English option!! All of the choices were of a good quality / standard. Staff at breakfast, again were efficient. Definitely would recommend as close to Fulham Broadway tube (5 minute walk).
