Will start with a positive, according to my husband it was cheap. Also it was handy for both the bus and underground.
There were lots of steps both inside the hotel (no lift) and outside, the latter being slippery when wet.
In the first room we had, the double bed was pushed against the wall, but anticipating that, our friend, who had made the booking, had booked us a triple room. Our shower only gushed scalding water, very dangerous, and could not be adjusted. The only toiletry provided was liquid soap in a wall mounted dispenser. Also as you entered the bathroom the light and fan went on, but the fan went on and on long after you had exited the bathroom, very disturbing especially in the middle of the night. The fittings were rusty.
We were allocated a new room because of the broken shower. The bathroom had extensive black mould in the shower and there was smell. The walls did not reach the ceiling so the smell pervaded the bedroom and of course the fan noise was even more evident. The nozzle of the hairdryer was sellotaped on and the bin had not been emptied since the previous guests. The casing of the fridge was cracked. The windows were filthy. There was siren noise from emergency vehicles even at the back of the property.

Breakfast! Individual boxes of cereal, toast, fruit juice, croissants if you asked for them and tea or coffee. Cooked breakfast? Yes hard boiled eggs, that was it. No bacon, sausages, scrambled/fried/poached eggs/beans/tomatoes/mushrooms etc.On our second morning we asked for mixed toast, but were told it was brown only, they had run out of white bread!

I would not recommend this hotel and I would not stay here again.

We had a family room consisting of one double and 2 single beds on the first floor with breakfast included.

Well located to O2 concert venue (just on the corner) and to Shepherd's Bush overground/ underground and bus station and cafes and restaurants

Fairly cheap for London.Neighbouring ibis charges £175 per night.

Proper beds, one single bed
was very comfy.

Quiet at night at back of hotel

Good, continental breakfast serving booked egg, croissant, brown or white toast, apple juice, orange juice, mango juice, selection of Kellogg's cereal boxes. Coffee and tea served to tables. Breakfast served in conservatory in basement. Lady serving breakfast was polite and professional.

Modern refurbished bathroom with bath and hanging shower

Fridge in room with tea and coffee making facilities

Bedding linen and towels clean

Bath was slippery when showering no bath mat provided or anti slip surface in bath.

Bath shower curtain smelt after showering

Carpets in entrance area and stairwell and bedroom needed hoovering

No lifts and not offered help to carry heavy luggage up flights of stairs

Left a charger in room on checking out. called the hotel and was told to call in morning, we were then told we would be called back, no call back, email sent to ask them to send it back to us and we will pay postage but no reply from hotel.

Bins in bath room and bedroom would not open with foot pedal

Room smelt like people had been smoking in room and could do with a thorough clean due to this

Dirty Marks around headboard

Workmen sitting outside hotel entrance smoking and made you feel uncomfortable

Hotel us old so floor is uneven in places

Not suitable for disabled or people with mobility problems

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and had a really good experience. The single room is small (not tiny) but clean and with all the amenities/facilities. The single bed and pillow were comfy. The property does not have lift so be aware if you have lots of luggage. Perhaps email/phone ahead to arrange a room on the lower floor.

The location is excellent. A quick stroke you reach Tube station in less than 10 mins and then 10 mins Tube ride to the city centre. Loads of places to eat and supermarkets in the neighbourhood. If you prefer a bit of shopping, the Westfield shopping mall is just around the corner and open till late (10pm week nights).

The staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was fast and efficient. Breakfast is simple but plentiful. Love the ladies working in the brekky room. They were always attentive and friendly. Just be aware the brekky room isn't huge so on the weekend you might need to wait a little.

In summary, love the location, love the brekky and happy with the staff and the room/facilities. Will definitely recommend.
