I have given this hotel a 'poor' rating but must add that we stayed in the annexe and not the main hotel which might be better value.
On the plus side, the location is a very central and convenient one for getting around London. The hotel looks clean and well-maintained and we had no complaints about the cleanliness of our room and shower, nor the bed-linen and towels. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on that.
Our room was on the top floor of the annexe with no lifts and up a lot of quite narrow stairs. It was one of the smallest rooms we have ever seen in a hotel. We were on a very short visit so had little luggage, but for anyone with normal luggage, or who is elderly or infirm in any way, don't even think about it! It faced the road and was Noisy as well. At £120 a night, excluding breakfast, pre-booked, paid for two months in advance and non-refundable, it was about the worst value we have ever come across, even for London. Best Western is a reputable chain and should think twice about offering this size room as a double - it just isn't. In addition, the safe didn't work and although we told reception about it nothing was done.
To be fair they did offer to move us for the second night, but only one floor down and to a similar sized room so we declined as we had a busy Schedule and decided that it wasn't Worth the effort. They also offered us free breakfast but we had two very late nights and breakfast finsihed at 9.30 which was too early for us. We are not blaming them for that though, and at least they made the offer.
We felt that as a pre-paying guest on a non-refundable basis they were taking advantage of us, especially as the hotel was displaying a 'Vacancies' sign.

Room Tip: Definitely not the annexe. We had room 41 - tiny and noisy. If you must be in the annexe, ask for a room not over-looking the road. Can't comment on the main hotel.

We stayed in this great hotel near Victoria Station with easy walking access to Westminster and British Natural History Museum. The staff were very helpful and we were able to get into our room at 8.30 am after a long flight from Sydney which was wonderful. The room was small but clean and bright and we were very happy with the price. There is a great pub nearby and lovely coffee shops which provide a great breakfast. Would stay here again.

This is a great location just minutes from Victoria station as well as Buckingham Palace. The staff was unfailingly welcoming and helpful. The rooms were adequate. My one big complaint was the sheets. They were extremely stiff and scratchy. It was like trying to sleep on a bed of nail files. I got to the point of leaving a note to the maid to not change the sheets if I happened to get a softer sheet so I could be assured of another night of relative comfort. The breakfast is WAY overpriced at 12.5 pounds. There are much better breakfasts just half a block away ( try Cafe Mignon) for half that price. Overall VP is a good value in pricey London and a great location.

Fifteen min walk to Victoria stn, 6 gbp cab ride. clean, quiet, comfortable but no chair in our room for 3. Ensue outré bathroom, good a/con. Helpful friendly staff, can buy several tour bus tickets there. A nice part of London but not very close to bus or tube. First class breakfast buffet was included, full English plus etc.

Room Tip: Elevator to top rooms connects with break fst room below.
