“Good value hotel in great location”
Reviewed 3 November 2013 via mobile

Great location right next to the maritime museum and close to Greenwich restaurants, market and station. Price compared well with other hotels in the region - was about the same as the travel lodge - but this is a much nicer hotel. Room was functional - but nothing special. Quite a bit of noise from road and aircraft - and fairly dated and basic bathroom.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your review, i am pleased that you found our venue to much nicer than a travel lodge, i would quite agree! I take your comments on board regarding the bathrooms and this is an area that we are looking to improve in the near future.

Kind Regards
Will

Stayed at this hotel in half term and what a find ! Great location to visit all the great shops, museums and market...only a few yards to all if them. Apart from a boat trip along the Thames we never need to leave Greenwich. This hotel had everything we needed, great breakfast and hosted brilliantly both mornings :-) more than comfortable rooms and free WiFi which was brilliant for the teenagers in our party. Every member of staff was pleasant and helpful and were just superb . Would recommend this hotel very highly, we loved it !

We stayed at the Devonport House as we were attending an event at the National Maritime Museam and it was literally next door. The hotel is really lovely, cosy and quaint. The rooms are a decent size. The hotel is situated in a prime location in Greenwich, walking distance from all the main sites as well as the shops. A delightlful little hotel. Would definitely return if staying in Greenwich again.

Great little hotel, nicely tucked away from the town yet right in the centre of it. Fantastic staff that are always genuinely happy to help and you get that they really mean it, such a rare find these days. Food was great at breakfast and fantastic value! Will definitely be back!!!

My husband and I stayed here from the 21st October to 23rd October, it's a great location both for the O2 and central London. The O2 is just a bus ride away either the 129 or 188 and cost £2.40 per person each way.
We stayed in room 125 which was a lovely room, the hair dryer was a proper one that worked really well (unlike some reviews). Parking is £5 per day for hotel residents and the free coffee/tea machine in the lounge a great addition from the last time we stayed here. There was also biscuits and porrage pots if we wanted a quick breakfast on the go.
We went into London on the DLR / Tube to see From Here to Eternity in the West End and had no problem returning back to the hotel on the 11pm Tube / DLR. There is lots to see and do in Greenwich although this time we did not do the sight seeing there.
