“Great value & good central location”
Reviewed 3 December 2013

A return visit to this hotel and just as good the 2nd time around. You won't find a better value budget hotel in central London. Excellent buffet breakfast. Only slight downside is it's not a quiet hotel due to the noise from the underground trains starting early morning about 6am but you probably get used to this.

The hotel is in a great location in Earl's Court: near the Tube, near plenty of pubs and restaurants, and close enough to walk to major attractions (V&A, Natural History Museum, Harrod's, even Buckingham Palace). The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and quiet. There are minimal amenities (eg, no toiletries; instead, a soap dispenser by the sink and a combo shampoo/shower gel dispenser in the shower: definitely bring your own preferred shampoo/soap/etc). If you are not planning to be in the room much more than for sleeping, this is a great choice. Note that 2pm check-in really does mean 2pm, no early check-in available for weary travelers from across the pond.

Great Location, near tube, pubs and restaurants, very nice area of London.
Bed room was not what we booked, we booked a Twin room but we were given a Family room with one very large double bed and one "camp" bed

We booked a two night stay last weekend and we checked in early Thursday afternoon, we were allocated a room on the 4th floor which was spacious and comfortable. The downside, the room was located on top of the railway line which was noisy and unacceptable we didn't even bother to unpack our bags we immediately requested a quieter room and we were then allocated a room at the front of the hotel which was ideal for our requirements. All we wanted was a comfortable bed and room for the night. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food. The hotel is in a very convenient location within walking distance of all amenities.
We would certainly stay there again but we would make sure we had a quiet room.
Great value for London.

Stayed here last night, enjoying a weekend in London and a concert at the Albert Hall. Greeted by excellent, friendly and helpful reception staff - in particular a young lady called Tais. The room was as it should be, clean with everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. We were on floor five at the front of the hotel so didn`t experience the noise commented on by some others. The temperature of the room was easy to control and the bed very comfortable. Our breakfast was included in the room rate, but I thought that the normal price of £8.95 was good for what we had (if we`d have needed to pay separately), compared to other hotel breakfast prices. We were very impressed with this hotel, especially the staff and would definately use it again.

Very friendly and good for museums a parks, great for busses. And tube, only thing I didn't like was the room was a little noisy as it was by the tube.a nice area to be in felt very safe at night, did not eat breakfast as there was a question for the restaurant.
Don't eat breakfast at Garfunkels on Gloucester. Road, cold food and hidden charges.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the tube

I had about 4hrs sleep because my room, 209, was overlooking the overland underground line. Forget counting sheep the rumbling every 2mins scared them away. Also after tossing a coin for the nice comfortable double bed I lost to my friend and ended up on the childs bed next to the window. Very annoyed has I had booked a twin. Earls Court doesn't have industry recognised twin rooms, two double beds, as the rooms are too small. The staff were very nice and professional and the room was clean.
