“Lovely beer garden on a sunny afternoon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2013

I stayed on Sunday 30th June to see Robbie Williams at Wembley. We had a very nice lunch and enjoyed a sunny hour in the beer garden. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet.

Dear Carolyn
Thanks for mentioning us on Trip Advsor and many thanks for mentioning our garden. We take great pride in it and once again qualified for the finals of Ealing In Bloom Best Licenced Premises. We have won several years and are hoping to scoop the award again this year!

I stayed there Sunday 30th to see Robbie Williams. We were met by very friendly staff, they were very helpful on how to get to Wembley stadium and organised a taxi for us, can't fault them. The room was very nice, crisp, clean bedsheets. Our stay was spoilt the next day when we decided to have lunch at The Fox and Goose Pub, we ordered Nachos for a shared started and were met by a plateful of broken up nachos and blobs of guacamole etc. When our mains arrived the barman had omitted to include my daughters main (there were only two of us) my main was described very lavishly "thai crab fishccakes on a bed of asian salad with chlli and coriander dressing" sounded amazing, but was just 3 obviously shop bought fishcakes shoved on a shop bought salad, no presentation at all, we were then approached by the manager saying "I'm sorry the barman has omitted your starter of scampi so go and pay at the bar" by now my daughter saw the food was poor and decided she would leave it, then the barman came over with his card payment system and asked us to order the scampi, we said no we have now changed our minds it is too late, there was no apology, no is everything alright with your meal so I could say actually no. They have "fresh" flowers on every table, but because water isn't changed it was a gloopy colour with wilted flowers, very off putting. Shame because the hotel itself was lovely and clean

Room Tip: The hotel is brilliant and it's so easy to get to Wembley stadium by taking the 83 bus

Dear Sharon

I'm so sorry about your bad experience in our restaurant. Incidentally, we do make our own fishcakes. We couldn't afford them in a shop!!! I do hope you will stay again with us so that you can see that we do offer great food and value for money.

I have stayed at this hotel each time I have had tickets to Wembley. It is only a short bus ride (number 83) to the Stadium so is perfect and also a short distance from Hanger Lane tube station. It is clean and cannot fault in any way. The pub next door is nice and has a lovely beer garden so when the sun is shining it is perfect to sit out in.

I will always use this hotel again.

The Fox & Goose has a stunning rear garden, beautifully kept, lovely hanging baskets and nice comfortable furniture.real ales from Fullers didn't disappoint with a cracking organic beers Honey Dew.....
The menu was simple, home made steak and mushroom pies,Sunday roast looked great with real yorkshire puds, excellent and value for money.Home made chips to die for!

All the staff are really helpful too, makes a pleasant change.

The rooms are lovely, comfortable beds, very clean and quiet to say we were so close to Hanger Lane.

You won't be disappointed in staying here should you be going to a footy match or concert at Wembley Stadium.

Room Tip: Great location

The location of this hotel is very good ,approx. 45 minute by taxi from Euston Station and close by tube, bus etc. to central London . The rooms are exceptionally clean and very spacious and the staff very friendly and welcoming. I didn't drive but there is a good sized car park. There is a nice pub style bar next to the hotel which serves good food. The only negative I can think of is that the hotel is on quite a busy road and the traffic kept me awake until 2 am .Also, the walls are quite thin and when other guests arrived back at the hotel at 2 am and later they kept me awake and I could hear noise of showers etc. On a business trip I put up with this but if I had been on holiday would have been quite annoyed. I would recommend this hotel as a business accommodation.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel may be quieter

Dear jax11ard
Thanks for troubling to write this review. Perhaps, if you stayed again, ask for a room at the back of the hotel which might be a bit quiter.

Stayed here on Saturday 22nd June 2013 to watch The Killers at Wembley. Paid for a superior room as we wanted a fridge. After a warm welcome we headed off to our room which had no fridge, however the Manager produced one in about 10 minutes. We went to the pub in front of the hotel and ordered scampi, a red wine and a pint of lager for £37. The same manager appeared and gave us back £30 and apologised for no scampi and asked us to order another meal which would be complimentary....great service, they try really hard to accommodate their guests and make every effort to ensure a their guests have a great stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.....and The Killers were amazing

booked a standard room in advance no breakfast ,but if we changed our mind and wanted breakfast would not be a problem went for the standard room because we were touring london would not be there much.
The pub was a nice touch next store and the free parking was excellent and the hotel said we could come early and park up and the next day even though we checked out said we could leave the car free parking while we toured london.
room was basic but thats what we payed for location great hanger lane tube station 5 min walk
then £14 for two of us for a tube pass all day which included buses as well 15/20 mins in to west end brill.
we have just booked again for august bank holiday with friends and thought we would try superior room.
looking forward to it.

Dear Golfer4040
Thanks for taking the time to let people know about your stay. The car park is free and it is no problem for anyone who checks out to leave their car and go off for the day. We will look after it until you return.
Looking forward to welcoming you back in August.
Your superior room awaits you!
