Good location that just a short walk from the station. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The prices were considered bit expensive as no free wifi, no hair dryer and no luggage storage..

I'm not sure if the hotels cleaners and maids had been on strike for the months prior to my arrival, but from the state of the room it would certainly appear so.
The pictured I have uploaded show the state of the bathroom, I think sleeping on the tube would have been a cleaner option.
When I checked in I was informed my room was downstairs and it would be nice and quiet. In not sure how being on top of a train line is quiet...? Trains stop about 1am and start again about 5...
The room was hot and stuffy, no AC, and no fans at reception.
I am looking forward to never staying here again!!!

I needed a crash pad for a works night out and chose this Travelodge. Having stayed in quite a few I was very impressed with this one... it's been recently refurbished and was super clean, comfy and fresh. The bed was amazing! The staff were very helpful, courteous and friendly. Can't recommend it enough for a central London hotel. 2 minutes to Kings Cross Station.Perfect!

Room Tip: I had a family room, 321. Overlooked the train tracks at the back, which you could hear but nothing too bad.

This was the first time that we have stayed in a Travelodge and we were very impressed indeed. Excellent value for money, close to amenities and very professional staff. The Kings Cross one has a buffet/bar, which is very handy. All in all a very good first time experience with Travelodge and would not hesitate to stay in one again

This hotel has really comfy beds & very friendly, helpful staff. But unfortunately - due to having a room right next to a railway line - I was unable to open the bedroom window - and even with it closed I didn't sleep very well... The noise went on all evening and resumed loudly before 7am with shouting and the sounds of trains passing...
