We stayed 3 nights and due to the close proximity to Kings across we expected a little bit of noise. What we got was a room direct next to the tube line with tubes every few Minos from around 5.45am right through to gone 1am. No air con and had to have a dest fan on constant for 3days which I'm sure isn't entirely safe. Breakfast was a shambles & they ran out of clean knives so had to butter our toast with the handkerchief of a spoon

We stopped at the Kings Cross Travelodge overnight as we had an early Eurostar train on the Sunday morning. The rooms we had were good, spacious and comforfotable, especially the one my Wife and Daughter stayed in. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The Breakfast room was relatively small and when full as it was when we went for breakfast it was difficult to sit comfortably to eat. This was due to this room being in the part of the building which was listed and could not be expanded
The continental breakfast was plentiful although I would have preferred to have had a cooked breakfast to set up for a very long day travelling to Switzerland.

This hotel was ideally situated with a 5 minute walk to kings cross station, however the room was unbearably hot! with no air conditioning and only a fan to keep you cool. With the recent refurbishment air con should have been a must! and will probably seek alternative accommodation should we venture up in the future purely because it was too hot in the room. Other than that served it purpose extremely well.

Checked in fine with a friendly staff member. I originally had a family room booked as at the time of booking, this was the room that was available on the website but was not sure if my friend was arriving so they gave me on of the disabled room instead. So I had a nice large room with a big bathroom.

The room was No aircon but there was a fan. I work up with very damp sheets in the morning. It was not really a great night's sleep due to the heat. The room itself was clean and no other problems apart from the heat. I probably would stay there again but not in the summer. The location is excellent.

Room Tip: Room at the back if you do not like noise outside

Well located and refurbished. 5 min walking from King Cross station. I spent 6 nights without any complaint. A little bit noisy. Avoid rooms on the back of the hotel. There are good pubs and restaurants close.

We stayed here for just one night & found it much better than I expected. The place was spotless & the staff were very friendly. We had breakfast, too and the staff were on top of keeping it clean.

It sits over a busy railway line, so it is noisy, but the price per night takes this into account and more than compensates for it.

This hotel is very well placed for King's Cross and St Pancras stations. It is an average Travelodge, with all the usual facilties. The main irritation is that there is no hairdryer in the room; you have to ask for one at reception anfd then return it there.
