We chose The Belgrave for a two night short stay at the beginning of August when we visited our daughter who lives in the area. Although the entrance is somewhat understated, once across the threshold you enter a reception and small bar area which has a decidedly sophisticated feel to it. Check in was friendly, efficient and quick and we soon found ourselves in a well decorated and well maintained room that was spotlessly clean. Although small with limited wardrobe and storage space, the room was more than adequate for a short break. The usual tea and coffee making facilities were enhanced by the added bonus of an espresso machine. Free Wifi, a small concealed refrigerator, internet connection, a smart TV and the option of UK or continental plug sockets also added to the quality and attention to detail provided at this hotel. Again, although small the bathroom was extremely well presented with an excellent shower and good provision of toiletries. The attention to detail is impressive and gives the feeling that the hotel and it's staff are striving hard to be just that bit better than nearby competitors - something which it seems to achieve. Although we didn't have breakfast, the room provided looked welcoming and well furnished. Located in an excellent spot it is easy to get to many of the Central London tourist attractions either on foot (if you're up for a decent walk) or by public transport. Whilst tourist information leaflets were not obviously displayed information was readily available from reception staff. A short stay gem of a hotel which we would certainly use again.

We are very pleased with our stay at this hotel and it's staff since we arrived. Everything is new and very we'll maintained, the decor selection blend completely to create a nice atmosphere around you. The location is very good as the neighborhood and the breakfast selection and service every morning was great as the cleaning of the rooms.

Stayed here for one night on business, as my regular hotels were fully booked. I wasn't expecting too much, as many of the hotels in the old houses on Belgrave Road are rather shabby, and some are downright awful. However, as soon as I stepped inside I saw that the quality of this one was far better, and the rooms are very modern and finished to a very high standard. Staff were friendly and welcoming too, especially the girl on the desk on the morning I checked out. The only slight negative was that, as with all these hoitels in big old houses, you can sometimes hear people walking on the floor above you, but other than that it was a really good stay and would consider staying again.

Was close to Victoria. Room was smart but a bit small. Ok for a couple of nights. Staff were polite. Shower was good. Loved all the shower gels etc, they were gorgeous. Ideal area for the Apollo Theatre.

Room Tip: Quiet area.

Average place which is very well located. We stayed on 3rd floor from a total of 5 floors
The standard room we stayed in was quite small
With 2 large suitcases we struggled for space
There are no fitted wardrobes in the room
Free wifi , printing facilities in the reception and air conditioning were great pluses
