“Budget but pleasant!”
Reviewed 31 May 2013 via mobile

This hotel is in a fantastic location situated between Glouster Road and Earls Court underground station. Unsure why a payment was taken over a week before arrival at the hotel, however check in/out was smooth enough. We stayed in a triple room which was small and had no wardrobe/hanging space just a double and a single bed plus shower room. There was also only a blind and no curtains which meant when the sun was up so were we! Breakfast was passable if you don't expect too much... You get what you pay for! An important point is there is no lift therefore we had to climb 5 flights of stairs.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of our 3 week European vacation. Out of 10 different hotel rooms we stayed at throughout Europe, this was by far the tiniest room. There was barely room for our bags on the floor. We had to take turns getting dressed, as we both couldn't stand up at the same time. Bathroom, again very small, was actually pretty modern. While the room was tiny, the bed was quite comfortable and it was all very clean. There isn't a ton of sound proofing, so when our neighbors came in late, we woke up. Our room also had no window to outside (just to the hallway), so whenever the hall light was turned on, it brought a lot of light into our room during the night. Our service was good, and we were happy with the breakfast. The hotel is about a 5-10 walk from the Earls Court tube station. So while we were not super impressed with the size of the room, for the value we were satisfied.

Mini room, if you´re over 180cm, you won´t fit in the bed and in the shower. Neighbour snored as if in the room with us!!!The bed was clean, towels ok. Breakfast was fresh coffee, supermarket juices, cooked eggs, corn flakes, banana and cheap toast bread. After all, it is not the Ritz in London!5 min walk to Earls Court Tube and friendly staff. Overall bad, but considering how expensive overnight stays in London are, this place fits in the budget. We´ll have it in our list for the next stay.

Very good hotel, with very friendly welcome. The room I had was the smallest room in the hotel but everything you need is in there. Everything is clean, the shower is modern as well as the ac and the tv. The internet connection is excellent, perfect for skyping. The bed is clean and warm and you can open the window if you are too hot. Earls court is not far away with all its restaurants. The breakfast is good with eggs, jam, juice, everything you need!

Tiny tiny room, the bathroom was so small the sink hung over your knees whilst on the loo. Just a bed and a rbi in the room and the tv didn't work. No lift and when I asked where the lift was (heavy suitcase in hand) no offer to assist. Nowhere to leave luggage.

Great location in terms of being handy for the tube and the staff (for the 3 words or so we exchanged) were pleasant enough but that's where it ends.

I appreciate that for the price you can't really expect much so the fact that the room was small didn't really bother me.

I do not expect to wake up at 5am with somebody elses comb digging into my back- the bed sheets had obviously not been changed.

The curtain was NAILED into the window frame- perhaps it was the "student digs" themed room.

Was pretty warm night so I slept with the window open and unfortunately smoke from people huddled out in back yard was wafting through my window.

Oh and I found a massive toenail on the floor- when I say massive I mean looked like a hoof.

Revolting. I skipped breakfast suprisingly enough, Could not get out of there fast enough. Would recommend if you were perhaps suicidal.

I was thrilled to find such a good hotel with great service and at a great location for such a cheap price. The rooms were very clean, the staff was fantastic 24/7 and the location terrific. Everything you need is just around the corner and you feel very safe knowing there is someone at reception 24 hours a day. I recommend this hotel for anyone who comes to London on a budget and i know where i'll be staying next time. Excellent

Room Tip: just tell the receptionist wht you'd like and they'll make sure you get it as they did with...
