Very convenient location due to it's proximity to the Banking hub. The lounge always had decent food and beverages. Concierge service was very good. Room service went out of the way to make sure I got food on a late night arrival. Very good and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for my birthday June 7,staff was all polite rooms spacious and lovely view from are executive room,my only problem was the parking off site which for one day and 15 hours we was charged £25 after a discount from the Marriott hotel, would I stay here again? Yes but won't be driving again

Dear eqwe w,

Thank you very much for your review. I am delighted to read you enjoyed the hotel, including the staff and the bedroom.
In terms of parking space, we are not in control of the prices as we work with a local car park and as you mentioned we do not have parking on site.
I am overall glad to read you will consider staying with us again. Also, as we are within easy access to underground and DLR stations you can reach us using the London transportation system.

SIncerely,
B Dijoux

Brought my partner here this weekend for a theater trip. The view from the room was a stunning one over the adjacent dock. The staff were fantastic and the room service ordered was delicious. Comfortable and quite luxurious. Highly recommended.

This is a nice hotel in a business district. The room was comfortable and clean. The light rail is next to the hotel and connects with the tube system nearby, making central London and most tourist attractions easily accessible from the hotel. The executive lounge is well stocked and just like any other executive lounge found at Marriott properties in the U.S.

The hotel itself is definitely not a high-rise building, despite what the pictures show. I thought it was a bit misleading. The hotel takes up only the lower floors and is primarily in a five- or six-story structure connected to the high-rise building. Many rooms only face a courtyard surrounded by rooms on three sides. While the courtyard-facing rooms are quiet, getting direct sunlight despite wall-to-ceiling windows, even when it is sunny outside, is a bit challenging in an interior room such as ours. Also, privacy could be compromised if curtains are opened as other rooms are visible from the window. Rooms that face the other sides have windows facing the elevated tracks of the light rail that runs frequently throughout the day and evenings. In short, the hotel does not seem to offer much in terms of views from most rooms despite its nice location.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the water.

We normally stay downtown London so I decided to try this hotel based on trip advisor recommendations. It is now my favorite London hotel. The hotel and rooms are modern. Being a platinum we got free buffet breakfast on the weekend when the lounge was closed. All the staff are very helpful. The main reason I love this hotel is the area. You can walk along the Thames or canals and find many great places to eat. It's not like Oxford street where you can't walk down the sidewalk. The rooms are very quiet, well insulated and the highest floor is 8, it's all apartments above that.

We stayed at the Marriott west india quay via a friends recommendation... we were not disappointed! Gorgeous hotel (inside and out) and exceptionally clean with staff that genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. Quiet picturesque hotel on the water and only five minutes from the hustle and bustle of london.
We were upgraded to an executive suite on the third floor (room 315-it is right at the end of the corridor) Gorgeous, very spacious room, two TV's, two showers, two very big windows over looking the city. It's like the ark, everything two by two, just like us...My boyfriend and I stayed here for a birthday weekend and this room suited us fine (more than fine! it was lovely!!) but it would be equally suited for someone on a business trip. Could not fault one thing about our stay and we will definitely use this hotel again when returning to the city.
Tip...the hotel is literally opposite the west india quay tube station and the rooms on the lower floors will overlook the platform. This didn't bother us in the slightest...you don't hear any noise, all windows are tinted and dressed with curtains so noone can see in to your room, but if you would prefer a more picturesque view, i'd request a higher floor

Room Tip: We stayed in 315 which was an executive suite at the end of the corridor...close to the lifts...not...

Our stay in the marriott was lovely. The hotel is in a brilliant location, right by West India Quay DLR station, and within a five minute walk of Canary Wharf station. The surrounding area is great, with a number of bars and restaurants right outside. The service in the hotel was excellent, with friendly helpful staff. Sam on the concierge desk was particularly helpful. The room was lovely, very clean, with a very comfortable and massive bed and a good view over the water. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and this too was very good. The only downside would be the extreme charge for wifi - I don't quite understand why Marriott find the need to charge for this when many other hotels do not. Overall, an excellent stay, and I'd definitely return.
