Stayed here in the day after a night out by booking via 9to5. We arrived really early, but the staff were really helpful and got us a room.

Rooms were lush. Really comfy beds, really nice showers (although they did have leds which lit up blue to red based on the temperature of the water), really quite in the rooms.

Perfect.

My wife and I stayed here on the 4th September2012 bed and breakfast. The hotel is in a good position being about a four minute walk from Borough tube station and about a six minute walk from London Bridge tube station. The room was simple with a good bathroom and shower and FREE internet connection in the room. Breakfast was adequate with a buffet selection of the usual foods, plenty of tea and coffee.Check in and out was very quick and the receptionist was only too happy to answer our enquiries.Do not forget to buy an Oyster card which saves on bus and tube fares.A £5 deposit is now required for a card but this can be reclaimed at the the end of your stay.I booked this room through Booking.com and paid £120 which I thought for a London Hotel with brfeakfast was a good price. The rack rate is £250 so do book through discounters. All in all an enjoyable stay and I will stay here next time we are in London

It's really near almost everything. Touristic places like London Bridge, Tate museum, Borough Market. Great internet connection. A simple breakfast but i guess more than enough. It's a good place for a traveler.

Southwark Rose is very well located, not too far from London Bridge tube and mainline station.

We were upgraded to a family room which had two separate rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains blocked out all of the light which gave us a great night's sleep.

The room had its own espresso machine which we thought was a nice touch.

The breakfast was pretty good and it also had a well stocked bar.

We'd not hesitate to stay here again if we need to stay in London Bridge.

Check in was a bit tricky - their system was down and reception staff not very helpful - also they charged me £1 charity donation which I was annoyed about as they did not ask me if I wanted to donate. Had to pay cash at breakfast for a full english as they could not add this to the room, which was annoying as did not take any cash with me to breakfast, so had to go back to the room for £5.

Room Tip: Our room was the size of a cupboard, very pokey.

We selected this ibis styles (formerly all seasons) based on prior TA reviews and we were not disappointed. Ibis styles is located an easy 10 minute walk from London Bridge underground station or 15 minutes from Southwark underground station. Both stations have lifts so getting you luggage from the platform to the street is relatively easy. Word of warning, best avoid using the tube during peak times - its too much hassle!

The hotel itself is next door to the Novotel, and both have undercover arrival driveway in case it rains. We were fortunate enough to check-in immediately at 9.30am. The foyer has range of lounges, self service tea/coffee facilities, public restrooms and bar/breakfast restaurant.

The room itself is very large, with king size beds, LCD TV, wardrobe and writing desk. Bathroom is also large, with shower only. The room are modern and very comfortable. We Had a view of the new Shard building, though we spent little time in the room.

Highly recommend for a pleasant comfort stay.
