“A good find”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

Visited here for lunch on a weekday,
A great find,
Fast friendly service,
Great food,
And good prices, considering its location,
Good choice on menu, and a fine choice of beers and wines,
Or even a pot of tea!!

“Extremely slow service”
Reviewed 19 March 2014 via mobile

This is the second time i have been to this branch of Jamies. The first time is was about half full and the last time there were just 7 other people in there. We ordered a main course of fish cakes and after 25 minutes had to ask where it was. Given the number of staff and just 9 of us in the place the service was severely lacking. In view of the number of wine bars in the area, they need to seriously up their game.

I have also been to Jamies near Bow Lane. Totally different experience.

Can't recommend this place for a Christmas get together. Turkey dinner not good and veg v undercooked. Waiting staff seemed very glum and didn't want to be there. On the positive side, it was great to have our own room, the sparkling wine on arrival, and mince pies with coffee, were nice touches and the white chocolate cheesecake was delicious.

Overall, disappointing (and plenty of better options in this area).

“Not what I expected but good when the food arrived.”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

I must admit I was under the impression this place was one of Jamie Olivers eateries. It wasnt and this is why I was disappointed. I ordered my favourite staple steak with fries and salad and the food was good, steak was very tender well cooked. It was very easy to find, good staff and right by the underground.

“Good Food”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

A quick lunch well served and pleasant surroundings. Prices are fair for the City and this place is clearly very popular. Extensive menu and the food quality is good too.
