Staff were more friendly and helpful than in some similar hotel chains, so we had a very efficient, warm welcome. We know the area well, but if you don't, staff are good at showing you shortcuts and giving tips on how to enjoy Westfield, the Olympic Park facilities and reach various venues in central London. If you plan to go to any venue near the Jubilee Line, [O2, South Bank, Tate Modern] this is much better value than some other options AND you have good food shops on hand to buy cheaper drinks, picnics and sandwiches than in the area of some of those venues. You can swim in the Aquatic Centre, as one of us did. You can shop till you drop. Or you can go further afield by tube, train or bus, very easily - just ask the staff if you need help. The beds are comfortable; the bar offers good views (and has drinks at reasonable prices, unlike some hotels) and you get the usual Holiday Inn modern furnishings. The only downside for us was that we didn't get a view of the stadium that a certain football team will occupy soon - one of us being a lifelong fan... But that didn't detract from a sense of 'very good service and good value for money'!

Room Tip: Ask for one higher up with a view!

We stayed here while visiting London for a concert at O2, we travelled from Plymouth and after a long trip we arrived to lovely friendly staff, the room was top notch! Very clean and we had a fab view of the Olympic Park, the location of this hotel is brilliant, there was plenty of choice of where to eat, lots of shops and the tube station was a 2 minute walk, we would definitely return!

The only knock I have on this hotel is not the hotel but the distance to central London. Apart from that the hotel is great with friendly staff. The area around the hotel is a shopping heaven if you are into that. The one thing that I was impressed with is outside the hotel, Westfield set-up a massive screen in HD to watch World Cup and Wimbeldon matches. Too bad England was eliminated early. The dining options are plentiful and we enjoyed the breakfast every morning at the hotel. A note of caution if you are taking the Central line to the city center the train is very crowded during peak times and there is no A/C for whatever reason. The other line that takes you to the Tower of London is far more pleasant.

Room Tip: If you don't like the noise request a room that doesn't face the courtyard.

We booked this hotel through Last Minute.Com's Top Secret Hotel deal where you know the class, location and amenities of a hotel but not the name. That way we got 30% of usual stated price in order for hotels to sell vacant rooms. Usually stay more centrally but particularly wanted to visit the Olympic Park. Did not know the area at all so didn't know what to expect. Thought hotel might be on a 6 lane highway in the middle of nowhere but what a surprise. The journey out to Stratford from Euston was easier than expected. Emerged at station into middle of really nice shopping centre (Westfield) with lots of up market shops and places to eat and drink. All pedestrianised. Hotel is within this centre two minutes from station. We were at hotel before we even started looking for it! Secure entrance with concierge and reception on 3rd floor. Lift to higher floors only activated by room card. Friendly efficient welcome and check in. Lovely light spacious interior to this modern hotel which does not even seem as old as the two years it is. Room much, much larger than expected. Really good decor and design. Not a fantastic view but then we weren't paying for it but we did get all the rest. The room was immaculately clean. Really comfortable bed and good bathroom. 7th floor and floor to ceiling windows don't open which is probably just as well for safety but air con efficient and quiet. Slept very well. Found that toilet seat was slightly loose and that there was a minor problem with the safety catch on the room door. Filled in the appropriate form and left it on the desk and lo and behold all was fixed when we got back. Very impressive. On one morning we had breakfast after buying tickets for £10.00 on reception. Food was excellent coffee particularly good. Fried eggs cooked as you waited. Lots of prepared fresh fruit, good cooked selection as well as continental meats and cheeses and pastries. Excellent value. Spent 3.5 hours going around the park although spent a lot of that sitting in the Velopark (free entry) watching practice sessions. One evening we bought a picnic from Waitrose in the shopping centre and watched a film on TV. A really cosy evening. I anticipate using this hotel, again. Lovely smart professional staff.

Room Tip: Rooms with even numbers have views over Olympic Park.

When looking for somewhere to stay in London, I hadn't really considered Stratford. But my search revealed this hotel as a good price for the time of year.

The hotel was easy to get to, being located next door to Stratford Regional station.
I arrived two hours early, but when I reached reception, I was able to check in immediately.
My room was on the fourth floor, down the corridor from the lifts. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. My only bugbear was the view from the room, which was of a large crane and a pair of dirty socks directly outside the window. Also, I found the towels to be rather hard.
The staff were very friendly, professional and good humoured and very knowledgeable about the local area.
The area itself is lovely, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is only 3 minutes walk away and the hotel is sited at Westfield Stratford City, the largest Shopping Centre in Europe. There is a Good selection of restaurants immediately outside the hotel and of course, a huge selection of different shops.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to Denali London but who doesn't mind a short Tube/DLR ride.

This hotel stays in the area of the Olympic games park of 2012 and offers all comforts you can look for. The gigantic Westfield mall is steps away and the whole area with the pedestrian streets has a great appeal.
Rooms are big and comfortable, furniture is modern and the stay was pleasant.
My room did not have a view, only some sort of construction going on, but no noise at all.
Only down side was the lift not working for 3 out of 4 days I spent there. Apart from it a very nice hotel, friendly staff and good location if you want to shop or you don't mind being far from central London. Transportation is easy, several lines end there in Stratford and you can connect anywhere, but takes time.
