The Crystal Palace Travelodge bedroom was very clean. The bed linen was spotless. The bathroom was also very clean. This Travelodge deserves its very high rating because of the shower facilities. I am severely disabled and use a wheelchair. The shower seat was wider and longer than those found in some older Travelodges. Even though I am of very slight stature - only 8 stone - the wider shower seat and perfectly positioned shower hand rails, resulted in me being able to shower in safety.
Overall the disabled facilities are of such a high standard that they, in my opinion, set the standard to be met by other hotels.

Very friendly staff. Rooms of a good size and very clean & tidy. Easy to find. Perfect for one night stay. Great to see no charge for car parking. We will stay again next year when attending an event in the area.

This was a preety good stay for us, reasonable, clean room, comfy beds and nice modern feel to the place. The security on the hotel is very secure and safe and the car park is nicely lit and protected. Pleasant receptionist, although when we asked for extra sheets for the third bed, he simply gave us a sheet, no duvet or pillows at all. There were no extra pillows in the room and just one towel, even though there were three of us. TV did not work at all unfortunately and the air con was almost non-existant. These few issues with the room let the overall stay down, but all in all not too bad.

Stayed at this hotel overnight to attend a party nearby. Yes the hotel was very basic, and looks like an old office building but had everything that we needed, clean comfortable beds and staff were very helpful and nothing too much trouble. They even arranged a taxi at fixed rate for us.

Not a fan of Travelodge due to previous experiences and this was booked by my family so was not originally looking forward to it. I wanted to say thank you to the guy that helped me with directions as i was lost on my way down, it's actually in Penge even though it is named crystal palace so beware future bookers. This travelodge is extremely clean and the staff have been amazing throughout our stay. Cannot fault the hotel as i slept like a baby and my room was extremely clean, only downside is that it has no bar or restaurant but has what you need on the high street which is not too long of a walk. Would stay here again if needed to as it exceeding my expectations.

Room Tip: Views from the 9th floor is breathtaking, especially at 6am for those early risers.

Not a particularly attractive building from the outside, but a good view from the 9th floor! The bedrooms have recently been refurbished and although quite basic, had everything that we needed and were both clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel also has the added bonus of a secure car park at no extra charge.

If you just want a room with a good bed this accommodation is fine. The room itself has limited furniture. No draws, one chair, no TV instructions and nowhere in the shower to place toiletries .
On the positive side the room was clean. The staff are very helpful and arranged a taxi at a set price.
The cost of internet use seemed high. As stated by others there is no real breakfast facilities. All in all a room for sleeping and little else.
